Nearly every wrestler enters the universe in an arena, maybe in a vignette, and it's always based around wrestling. Carmella was introduced as a hair stylist when Enzo and Cass went to see her one day at the salon. Because Enzo fucked up and dumped the Nair on the dog Carmella lost her job and told Enzo to either find her one or get out of her life, and he got her a spot inn the performance center.

I wish more wrestlers had origin stories like this.

I just like the idea of buddies going though the tough business of wrestling. Xavier has mentioned a couple times that Breeze is his best bud in the business and they lived together for a while. Also he helped him come up with his character.

I always see wrestlers use their legs around someone’s neck for this thirty second holds, where the crowd has to start clapping for the person trapped to get out. But I have never seen someone actually use their legs for their submission and have won with it.

Carmella Code Of Silence is all I can think of.

Just an observation: the difference is staggering in only a few weeks of the draft in the bag between Carmella and Eva. Carmella wrestles purposeless matches, moonwalks, and gets no reaction. Like, Kane vs Miz level pops. Eva has not taken a bump and is more over than Carmella because there's a story going on with a promise of more to come.

And y'know, if this continues Eva is going to outshine all of her women counterparts because she has a clever character and a story. Nothing wrong with it if it's entertaining. It's a bit sad to watch Carmella and her anti-pop every week because they needed warm bodies for Smackdown and had no plans for her.

It's certainly no fault of any wrestler but these motiveless characters have got to stop marching out to wrestle to no reaction in this new era. Or am I reaching? More characters please!

I’ll start. In 2006 (I think) there was a male stripper tag team called the Dicks. I feel they were only around for a month and then disappeared

My top five are The Undertaker, Lord William Regal, Scott Steiner, Raven and Mankind.

Lord William Regal became my #2 without me giving him mush of a push. Once I realized how popular he was though, I made sure to give him the world title for a year. He’s consistently been one of my best guys. Maybe THE best guy.

Extra note. Scott Steiner has stayed my #3 despite me keeping him basically in the midcard. I guess it helps that he doesn’t lose very often. He’s like the boss you have to beat to get to the main event.

I was curious who the most popular wrestlers on Instagram were so I did some research. Here are the top 20 most popular active wrestlers on Instagram:

This list doesn't include many semi retired or part time performers including the Rock who has 275 million followers. More than probably all other wrestlers combined. John Cena has 16.5, Ronda Rousey has 14.1, Nikki and Brie have 10.0 and 8.1 respectively. Triple H 6.3, Paige 5.9, Stone Cold 5.1, Eva Marie 5.0, Lana 3.8, the Undertaker 3.7 and Dave Bautista has 3.6. This is based on a list of 324 wrestlers I compiled including going thru the entire WWE and AEW rosters and a bunch of former WWE wrestlers that are now free agents or in a different wrestling company.

Edit: I missed Alexa Bliss somehow, so I added her, she has 5.4m followers. Also Brock Lesnar doesn't have an instagram otherwise he would probably top the list.

Is it just me, or does Carmella have a seriously nice ass for an older gal? I remember thinking this when I first watched the series years ago but now that I'm rewatching again (for the 100th time) I am truly stunned by how shapely carmella soprano (and by proxy edie falco) is in the ass and hips department.

She literally blows most of the rest of the cast away in the booty region. Even Adriana doesnt have a juicy bottom like Carm does. Anyone else?

I'll never understand the weird need some people have to create rumors about other people and spread them around.
