A list of puns related to "Canada–France relations"
I am Asian, wife is Caucasian. We have three small kids. I live in north carolina. I think by this point, most of the public has agreed at some length on “China caused 2020, etc etc.” the violence against asian americans has been at an all time high these past two years. The government and media has gotten increasingly psychotic. The idea of some type of US civil war, class war, uprising, revolt, etc. is unfortunately at least a possibility. Anyone who has read history knows where this type of socio-economic turmoil may lead to. I wonder if i should start looking for a way out before things get worse.
Both states were going through a period of turmoil and revolution resulting in the implementation of vast liberal reforms and the establishment of a constitution, they also had common enemies in the form of Russia, Prussia and Austria.
Considering the political alignment and geopolitical convenience of an alliance, why wasn't such alliance formed ? What was the relationship between these two states ? And how did the french revolutionaries see Poland and vice versa ?
I'm wanting to understand more about cultural differences and feelings of alienation, somewhat more on the personal level than the political, but of course those are connected.
EDIT: Thank you for all these thoughts. Are there any reads from say... post 1995 referendum?
23M, Indian, an engineering graduate. Have been learning french and Japanese for around four years now. I'm looking for a master's course that could help me get a good job in linguistics. Language wise, I hope to have a DELF C2 in French and a JLPT N3 in Japanese by the end of the year. I have just started to look for courses and apply, so any other advice would be welcome!
Thanks in advance.
