I'm a former Software Engineer who's in the process of putting a campaign together. I've dedicated the next few months to building the technology base myself (i.e. website, donation system, volunteer system, etc) but beyond that I don't have any guidelines going forward. I'm wondering if there's a Democratic organization that can give guidance to allow for the most success.
I can't say much about my policies yet, as I'm still in the planning stage, but my main inspiration for running is to communicate the desperate need for change in our country: we have too much infighting, too much terrible leadership, and not enough investment in our people's future. I would've loved to keep working as a software engineer, but the future of United States politics directly affects the security of my future, as well as everyone else's.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

#District of Columbia-State of Maryland Congressional Electorate Union Act
This act has been passed in The U.S Senate, it was proposed by Sen. u/superdupersun. This bill while gives more rights to D.C but the residents were expecting more from it. This bill is receiving mixed reactions, both in Democratic and Republican Party. Moreover, the D.C residents are also seeming very about it, but some are displeased.
This bills gives right to D.C to appoint delegates and sent it Representatives to U.S Senate as senators elected through, any congressional district of Maryland.

So, Sen. u/Johnkaz34, proposed a bill to the senate which restricts companies, and businesses to fire people because of opinions. It is co-sponsored by Sen. u/theoriginalelmo. The buisness owners and employers seem very displeased with this act, but some of 'em are happy too.
Many think it gives right to the workers and stop the buisness crimes whereas, some think it infringes the freedom of businesses and companies.

#Delaware-California Tension
This past week the California Governor u/Vegetable-Bread9509 said that he will send millitary of California to take control of Delaware to save it from socialism. The Delaware Sen. u/themobb1 also supported this act saying that it is to save Delaware. Most of the Americans are heavily displeased by this infight of the union, and they are not pleased with both Governor of California and Senator of Delware.
It is now very important for President u/Canuk69420 and his administration to unite the country, as America elected 1st Socialist President, it is also seeing many displease among the right wing due to this.
However, the tension for now is gone between California and Delaware, but they need to be more friendly to each other.
