If anybody wanted to know how to make brazilena (ACoffe based fresh drink popular in Calabria-Italy) Here Is the recipe i tested today

Gere are the doses for One Person : •two espressos • One tablespoon of Sugar •half a tablespoon of grinded cinnamon or two cinnamon stickers •8 Oz of sparkling water

How to Prep it Brew One espresso , put cinnamon , Sugar and let It cool ; After the coffe has cooled down remove the cinnamon and pour It into the sparkling water slowly , Mix It toghether and serve cold with ice Enjoy

(Sorry for my bad english , i'm italian) edit : use cinnamon sticks , the powder remains on the bottom

here my results 23andme and gedmatch.

the eyptian was suprising.The wana overall was expected.

Also ashkenazi jewish at 23andme remains at 90% confidence even its just 0.2%

and gedmatch shows the closed result to it.

Also those the X fully painted italian maybe mean that my my mom doesnt has many wana?

the chromosom painting apears to be 1 side alomost always fully italian and one mixed diffrently.

my mom is pretty much 100% south italian.

my dad is 100% south italian but family digging on his side is through.

want to test him aswell also my mom.

haplogroup is H and rb1

I am an Italian-American living in New York City. When I was a child, my mom used a large and a small basket to make gnocchi and turdilli. Her baskets looked exactly like the two seen in the linked picture. She said she bought them in Calabria in the 1950's from a woman who handmade them and sold them in an outdoor market. The baskets were very rustic and obviously handmade just like the two baskets seen in the picture.

My mom lost these baskets to a kitchen fire three years ago. With the Christmas season, her tradition is to make hundreds of turdilli for the family, and she expressed a sadness in having lost her baskets to the fire. I would love to be able to replace them for her. My mom was never quite sure what the baskets were called, although I think they might be called crivello or crivu but they might have a different colloquial name in Calabria. I have searched online to buy these baskets but all I could find are commercial machine-made versions which don't have the proper weaving on the bottom to roll the gnocchi and turdilli. I have an gnocchi paddleboard but the gnocchi and turdilli don't come nearly the same as they do when rolled on the underside of these traditional Calabrian baskets.

If you happen to know what these baskets are called in Calabria, and if you happen to know how I might be able to acquire two such baskets, I would very much appreciate your assistance. I thank you for your time and courtesy.
