Butia capitata Puns

First post so put me in my place if I'm doing something wrong.
So, I'm in Japan, Kumagaya if anyone is interested. We're in in Zone 9a with night time temperatures dropping below 50F/10C in late October or early November. Our coldest month is January with about 5 nights when the temp drops down to about 21F/-6. The average night time temp is around 25-27F. There's a little frost in the grass a couple of mornings every year but the soil never freezes. If we get snow at all it usually only hangs around for a couple of hours at the most. Daytime temperature in January is in the mid F40s.
Summers are hot and humid, 80-90% humidity and 90-95F.
So now to my question, what palm trees could I potential grow in this climate? Just looking at hardiness won't do because of the humidity in the summer, right? Some of you might know or be able to point me in the right direction. I rarely find any information when it comes to humidity tolerance.

The most common palm trees I see in gardens are Trachycarpus fortunei and Butia capitata. I've also seen canary islands palms for sale.
I'm planning on getting a couple of trachys, but the other two are too expensive if I want to have one with any trunk what so ever. Are all of the Washingtonians doomed here or is it worth it to give it a go?

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

We are borderline 7b/8a, North of Atlanta. Looking at planting the following palms:

• Pindo palm (butia capitata)

• Dwarf blue palmetto (sabal minor)

• Clustering Hardy Bamboo Palm (chamaedorea microspadix)

• King Sago Palm (cycas revoluta)

We have looked into some others (such as the needle palm/saw palmetto, but you know needles/saw and a kiddo aren't a good mix). We already have other herbaceous tropical plants such as banana palms and colossias that we cut and mulch each winter, but we are looking for some with less maintenance / more year round appeal

Spots in the garden vary, we have 4 spots that are full sun almost all day, but on a mild slope so no standing water. They also aren't protected from the wind at all. We then have 2 spots in our front landscape beds, close to the house so a bit more wind protection, but they only get afternoon sun (still a decent ammount), and the slope is minimal, occasional standing water after heavy rain.

Personal experience / anecdotal evidence / advice / pictures welcome!
