We will be gathering signatures to help get Andrew on the Ballot here in NY, and also for delegates in district 8. You will be briefed on signature gathering upon arrival, so if you've never done it before, don't worry we will get you ready to go, but please do look at the signature gathering guide.

We will be meeting at the entrance to the Brooklyn Children's Museum to brief everyone and go over the game plan. I will have petitions, maps, and other materials for you to carry! If you arrive late, please text/call me so we can tell you where we are, and I can get you petitions. We may move to a better location depending on the foot traffic near the museum.
Please bring a clipboard and pen(s) if you have them. And dress for the weather :)

My daughter is 7 and hasn't been to a museum in over two years because of the pandemic. Today, her math homework had a word problem in which kids voted for which type of museum to visit (art, science, or history). I asked her if she remembered visiting a museum and she said "yes, in animal crossing."

We were at the children’s museum today. My daughter had an accident at one of the little playgrounds so I went to the bathroom to change her. Then…when I opened the diaper bag, she did not have any extra pants. So I called my husband and asked him to go run to the car to get us some.
While we were waiting for my husband, I opened up the stall door so I could just rush out once he got there. My daughter was just standing in the doorway with no pants, just a pull-up. Another mom is waiting for her kid to finish up, and she smiled at us and said, “hey do you need a new pair of pants? I have some that will fit her!”
It might seem really significant but I will always remember that. I was feeling super flustered, feeling bad that my daughter peed on the playground, nervous about letting her stand there in just a pull up. So the fact that another mom just shot me a knowing smile and offered me help totally made my day. It sometimes feels like everyone in the world sucks so moments like this are so meaningful. Be nice to people.
