A list of puns related to "Bronze Cross of Rhodesia"
Paradox's Europa Universalis 4 has a mode where you can create custom nations, including custom flags. One user notes that he cannot recreate Rhodesia's flag in this nation designer, as the game changes the white of the flag to blue as soon as he tries to select the outer two green stripes.
Users quickly point out that this is a bug, though some people, as always, think there's some conspiracy going on.
Kind of dumb to censor flags in a historical game.

Tons of people accusing OP of being a white supremacist
And my favorite
But yeah, the post is a gold mine and I heavily encourage you to do some digging yourself.

I have recently acquired this beautiful piece of art. Itβs a limited edition I have #50 of 195. Each piece was stamped, plated, backed and hand finished. It was made in 1977-1978. I have a COA. With the work. Whatβs itβs worth.

This new book is being published this month by Cambridge University Press. Here is the description from the publisher:
"Justinian's triumphal column was the tallest free-standing column of the pre-modern world and was crowned with arguably the largest metal equestrian sculpture created anywhere in the world before 1699. The Byzantine empire's bronze horseman towered over the heart of Constantinople, assumed new identities, spawned conflicting narratives, and acquired widespread international acclaim. Because all traces of Justinian's column were erased from the urban fabric of Istanbul in the sixteenth century, scholars have undervalued its astonishing agency and remarkable longevity. Its impact in visual and verbal culture was arguably among the most extensive of any Mediterranean monument. This book analyzes Byzantine, Islamic, Slavic, Crusader, and Renaissance historical accounts, medieval pilgrimages, geographic, apocalyptic and apocryphal narratives, vernacular poetry, Byzantine, Bulgarian, Italian, French, Latin, and Ottoman illustrated manuscripts, Florentine wedding chests, Venetian paintings, and Russian icons to provide an engrossing and pioneering biography of a contested medieval monument during the millennium of its life."
A land both fair and great
On 11th of November
An independent state
This was much against the wishes
Of certain governments
Whose leaders tried to break us down
To make us all repent
But we're all Rhodesians
And we'll fight through thick and thin
We'll keep our land a free land
Stop the enemy coming in
We'll keep them north of the Zambezi
Till that river's running dry
This mighty land will prosper
For Rhodesians never die
They can send their men to murder
And they can shout their words of hate
But the cost of keeping this land free
Can never be too great
For our men and boys are fighting
For the things that they hold dear
That this land and all its people
Will never disappear
'Cause we're all Rhodesians
And we'll fight through thick and thin
We'll keep our land a free land
Stop the enemy coming in
We'll keep them north of the Zambezi
Till that river's running dry
This mighty land will prosper
For Rhodesians never die
We'll preserve this little nation
For our children's children too
For once you're a Rhodesian
No other land will do
We will stand tall in the sunshine
With the truth upon our side
And if we have to go alone
We'll go alone with pride
But we're all Rhodesians
And we'll fight through thick and thin
We'll keep our land a free land
Stop the enemy coming in
We'll keep them north of the Zambezi
Till that river's running dry
This mighty land will prosper
For Rhodesians never die
Yes we're all Rhodesians
And we'll fight through thick and thin
We'll keep our land a free land
Stop the enemy coming in
We'll keep them north of the Zambezi
Till that river's running dry
This mighty land will prosper
For Rhodesians never die
Because we're all Rhodesians
And we'll fight through thick and thin
We'll keep our land a free land
Stop the enemy coming in
We'll keep them north of the Zambezi
Till that river's running dry
This mighty land will prosper
For Rhodesians never die
