Is this the country we live in? Is this the fucked up country that has gone to hell over the past year?
This pisses me off to high hell. A man who was involved with the plan to try and overthrow Michigan Democratic governor Gretchen Whitmer, was just released on bail. For 10 grand. A man who committed fucking TREASON. Treason is punishable by death. And just like that, he got off. Scott. Fucking. Free. For just $10,000 god damn dollars. The original bail out cost being 1 million. Think about that. Someone who committed treason, who should have been put into death row, couldβve gotten out for 1 million, just got out for $10,000. I hate the fact now that many people were also chanting βlock her upβ, at Trumpβs rally in Michigan. People who say that are literally the ones who put her, and others, lives in danger. We live in a country where a person who committed treason gets off for $10,000, a president who got his followers to chant βlock her upβ, which ultimately makes it look like they support the scandal to overthrow the Michigan government. Please... just please can we get back to a country where people are punished for their crimes, and not let them get away with it.
This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 76%. (I'm a bot)
> WASHINGTON - Rep. Brian Higgins Tuesday called on the House of Representatives to begin the process that could lead to the impeachment of President Trump, saying an impeachment inquiry is the best and quickest way to finish the investigation started by special prosecutor Robert Mueller.
> In an interview with The Buffalo News in which he was sharply critical of both Trump and Mueller, Higgins, a Buffalo Democrat, reversed course on the need for an impeachment inquiry.
> Higgins said he reversed course on an impeachment inquiry after witnessing what he sees as an 11th possible obstruction of justice: Trump's refusal to provide information and produce witnesses in response to subpoenas issued by House committees investigating the administration.
> "An impeachment inquiry strengthens Congress's hand in seeking information and witnesses to fully carry out its responsibility" of overseeing the administration's actions, Higgins said.
> The House Intelligence Committee continues to review Russia's attempts to aid Trump in his 2016 presidential campaign against Democrat Hillary Clinton, and the House Oversight Committee is looking into several issues - including the possibility that Trump inflated his net worth in his 2014 bid to buy the Buffalo Bills.
> Higgins' change of heart on an impeachment inquiry puts him at odds with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California, who has resisted calls for Trump's impeachment.

He consistently looks like he just walked out of a hurricane. Has he ever said anything about it?

Figure I share here. Timely response as well. Sent a "complaint letter" to Chris Collins with no response yet. Good to know when your representatives actually listen to you.
