On the 1 year anniversary of the January 6 Capitol insurrection, r /conspiracy, like many other conservatives conspiracy theorists, can’t decide whether the attack was some false flag made to look conservatives look bad or it wasn’t violent or a big deal despite there being deaths due to the riot and several Capitol police committing suicide in the months after due to the trauma of being attacked by the insurrectionists.

If you're Len Kachinsky the answer is you do everything you can to bury the guy you're supposed to be defending. And it appears Len was right. Actively working against his client's interest - one of the most unethical things a lawyer can do - didn't hurt his career. He ended up a judge. It appears that if Ken had thought to himself "I had better tank this Dassey kid if I ever want to be a judge" he would have been right.
So, uh, yeah. I guess that's my whole point basically. It's pretty clear cut. Len Kachinsky didn't need to conspire with planters to do what he did. He just had to know which way the proverbial wind was blowing. No one associated with this case needed to be told that acting with prejudice against Avery was good for their careers either.
This sub is aligned with feminism, and that makes total sense. But I've been thinking... What if the main goal for all of the normalization of it is to keep people from having a strong community? I'm serious. Ads, the news, social media, hell even period apps advocate for porn use. We all know what it does to society, the individuals mind, and their relationships. You know they know it too. Some of you might already knew about Greyscale or Kucoin shorting Doge in May and causing it's price to drop, or Elon Musk suddenly causing BTC to crash(and Dogecoin with it), but it was only the begining. Now they want new coin that they market as "one that will bonk Doge" to create meltdown in the crypto market and spark the need for regulations.

Something like that doesn't just pop up organically, it's all planned. Nothing is like it seems. We need to spread awareness of this to whole crypto community, because it's not only attack again the Dogecoin, it's attack on whole crypto itself! Also, there's Bill Gates.

Seriously. I don't want to point fingers at a specific post, but I'm inspired by this one, titled "Finally an article in a mainstream magazine on the positives of crypto". The thing is: articles from mainstream media that are positive on crypto are posted here every day, often with a similar title. Why do people pretend there is a huge conspiracy and all media is super unfairly biased against crypto?
I have two guesses: either 1) people want to see a conspiracy - if the media is conspiring against crypto and is keeping it down, then crypto will explode once that stops and we will all be rich, or 2) people are so extremely biased pro crypto, that they see most positive reporting as neutral, and most neutral reporting (that maybe is mentioning some objective problems) as negative. Both are equally problematic.
I consume a lot of different media, and I would say I'm not hyper-focused on crypto. My impression is: like with every other topic, there is no general sentiment towards it in almost all media. The media reports on stuff people would want to read - and that's mostly somewhat sensationalist, sure. Huge price surges or dips. People becoming millionaires with some moonshot, or losing tons of money with a scam coin. Some articles do a deep dive and look into technical aspects, consequences for society, etc etc of crypto. Pros and cons. Unfairly biased articles are the vast minority. Sure, some articles are uninformed and get details wrong - but that's not unique for crypto, but is true for all complicated, technical stuff - and will most likely get better over time.
tl;dr: most media is not unfairly biased against crypto, most reporting is pretty fair. There is no big conspiracy trying to keep crypto down.
