IAmA LordStonefish, with one of the most declassification-worthy bibliographies on the SCP Wiki. I'm here today to declassify my own work upon request. AMA about what you want to know, don't get, or need explained!

Hello.

I am LordStonefish, author of SCP-3999 and 33 other articles which at their best are disturbing nightmarescapes and at worst are obscure and confusing. My work relies heavily upon a surreal, dreamlike sense of things just beyond your understanding, but in case you wanted to cross that eldritch threshold and know more about a specific article, you've come to the right place. I'm here today to do a retrospective/declassification/Q+A session specifically about my work. I'll try to elucidate plots, references, crosslinks, meanings, and other junk. I'll confirm or deny theories. I'll explain how I failed or succeeded. That sort of thing.

I'm doing this to mollify any of you out there who wanted myriad declassifications, but didn't get them. A declass of SCP-4012 is in the works, and you all know /u/modulum83's fantastic writeup on SCP-3999, but I'll take the load of their shoulders tonight. Ask away!

If you're not familiar with my articles, here is a link to my author page. Please browse and find one you're terribly confused by. http://www.scp-wiki.net/lord-stonefish

EDIT: As answering your questions might take a while, please have patience.

EDIT2: I will get to all questions in the morning, so keep asking them. I'm not done yet!

What's the correct way of citing an Icelandic name in a bibliography?

Apologies, title should read "in a footnote".

For example, say I have a book written by Thorkell Thorkelsson (apologies to any real Thorkell Thorkelssons). In a bibliography he'll appear with his name in full. But in notes, do I cite him as "Thorkell"? Or by full name? (Surely not just by the patronymic?)

How interesting would making a mod out of Stephen King's bibliography?

I've been thinking about horror recently, and I've noticed that the modding scene hasn't really gone in depth with horror stories. There have been attempts, but they're mostly just mini mods that are over before it gets good.

And then I started looking through Stephen King's bibliography, and then it hit me, what about taking DDLC's characters and such, and attempt to fit them within his stories, or at least adapt DDLC to them. What do you all think of that?

The Neville Goddard bibliography: a chronological list of his published books

Someone wanted to know the chronological order of Neville's book, and I listed the table of contents of my favourite compilation of Neville's books, The Power of Imagination: The Neville Goddard Treasury (published by TarcherPerigee, under the editing of Mitch Horowitz, I guess). I thought that I might as well make a post of it with added information from this Romanian Wikipedia page. The book's entries take priority (because I trust Mitch Horowitz's research more) and are mentioned in regular brackets. Curly brackets signify books which are created from Neville's lectures (to the best of my knowledge).

Any difference or addition from the Wiki page or other sources is in square brackets. Feel free to let me know if I need to add anything.

The Neville Goddard (1905–1972) bibliography

At Your Command [1939]

Your Faith Is Your Fortune (1941)

FreeΒdom for All: A Practical ApplicΒaΒtion of the Bible (1942)

FeelΒing Is the Secret (1944) [1951]

Prayer: The Art of BelievΒing (1945)

The Search (1946)

Five Lessons: A Master Class {1948}

Out of This World: ThinkΒing Fourth-DimenΒsionΒally (1949) [1948]

The Power of AwareΒness (1952)

The Power of Unlimited Imagination/The Creative Use of Imagination (edited by Margaret Ruth Broome) {1952}

Awakened ImaΒgination (1954)

SeedΒtime and HarΒvest: A MysΒtical View of the ScripΒtures (1956)

I Know My Father [1960]

The Law and the PromΒise (1961)

He Breaks the Shell [1964]

Resurrection [1966]

I am David Keck, author of an annotated bibliography about President Lincoln, and retired history teacher of nearly 48 years, AMA!

Hello! My name is David Keck, I am author of the book Reading Lincoln, An Annotated Bilbiography along with Dr. Tom Peet.

I am retired after nearly 48 years of teaching and administrative work in education. Presented, with Dr. Tom Peet, at 15 annual meetings nationally for the National Council for the Social Studies and on numerous occasions for statewide education professional organizations in Ohio. Wrote textbook material for Blencoe Publshers and supervised student teachers representing Ohio University in the central Ohio area. I've done three editions of "Reading Lincoln, " an annotative bibliography.

Currently I am working on the same format of book on the assassination of President Kennedy, which includes the Harold Weisberg collections with whom I was friends with before he passed many years ago. He was thought to have the world's largest accessible private collection compiled information regarding JFK and his assassination. He donated his collection to Hood College.

Recently presented at an author's night and book signing at the Westerville Public Library in Ohio and mentioned in other books about civil rights, Vietnam, and the Kennedy assassination for research and editing. AMA!

Proof

Synopsis of book Reading Lincoln includes annotated reviews of over 275 books ranging from campaign biographies written in the 1860s to works just released in 2014. It is a unique resource for teachers, students, and readers (both serious and casual) who want to know more about Lincoln and what books about him might be worth reading. Reviews include those of books intended for young adults to works intended for serious scholars.

Edit: I want to thank everyone for their questions and for the mods of /r/history for allowing this AMA. I'm going to call it a night. You can still ask questions and I will answer them periodically just not as fast as doing the AMA live. Have a great night everyone and I hope everyone learned some new things tonight.
