A list of puns related to "Barking Mad"
My 6 month old puppy barks ALL day while my husband and I are at work. We just moved into a new apartment and there has been complaints about his barking. He goes in his crate when we are gone and I usually put a few treats and toys in there with him but apparently it isnβt enough. I donβt have any real options other than a bark collar? Is there anything else I can do?
My puppy never used to bark. Now he is constantly barking for a variety of reasons: he sees a dog on a walk and the dog doesnβt want to play (cue bark), he wants to come up onto the couch (cue bark) and the WORST one, he stares outside at our balcony and randomly starts barking like crazy!! Itβs so loud and scary because it happens so abruptly, and there is literally nothing even outside. Maaaybe a person walking by but even then, my pup loves people. So what gives?
Any advice on what to do? The madness needs to stop! Iβve tried saying βstopβ, Iβve tried redirecting but he ignores itβ¦ anyone else have ideas?
Backstory: I (19F) live with one other roommate (22F) and we both have dogsβshe has an almost 1 year old dog and I have an adult dog. She leaves all the time to go out with her friends, and leaves her dog behind, even though itβs a service dog (Iβm not trying to be ignorant; I just donβt understand why sheβd leave it behind). The dog barks uncontrollably when alone, and itβs very very loud. Yesterday, I had an exam, and she left the dog and her friendβs dog behind in her locked room. I told her beforehand that I had an exam and the dog was loud but she didnβt seem to care. After she left, I sent a video of the dogs barking, and told her I was going to let them out if it continued. She told me not to, because the dogs were getting βacclimatedβ because theyβd be living together next year. I continually told her about how I had a big exam and couldnβt focus with two dogs barking non-stop. The thing is, the dogs wouldnβt bark if they were out of the room, but she was too concerned about them getting βacclimatedβ. Not to mention, she told me they were coming over only an hour before, so itβs not like I could have made other arrangements since it was due that night. Her solution was to just go in my room to take the exam, but the dogs bark louder because my room is literally right next to her. So, Reddit, AITA?
