A list of puns related to "BMW 3 Series (E90)"
Wich car is best in general and What could be coolest as a custom car or a jmd car or something like that and What would you prefer and What is best to drive
Does this indicate brake problems or possibly something else?

I am turning 16 and getting my permit in September, with plans on getting my license in April. The actual time to buy the car is a while out, but I like to plan things out.
I, after looking at and reviewing plenty of vehicles, I am partially considering the e90 generation of BMWs, along with MK7 GTIs, 86/FRS/BRZ, and 9th Gen Civic Sis.
I think that this generation of Bimmers would be a formidable first car choice for me because even though it has a lot of kick to it, I have read that the DSC, TSC, and ESC (interchangeable?) are absolutely great systems, and Iβm obviously not going to be flooring it the whole time Iβm driving it (except for some of that responsible sideways fun). It is RWD, which may prove to be a challenge during the winter months up here, but thatβs nothing a set of steelies, snow tires, and some skillful driving wonβt fix! (I know the xis exist, but thatβs just more stuff to break, especially on such a βfragileβ, lack of a better word, car.) The fuel economy is amazing considering the amount of power itβs pushing, as well as this generation with the naturally aspirated N54s (except for the 335s with the twin scrolls right?) which make for less things to worry about. I am a big fan of BMW (and βGerman Engineeringβ as a whole) and find that even though the car is pushing 14 years old, the design in and out is still timeless.
However, thatβs where the concerns also begin. Itβs a 9-14 year old German vehicle. BMW is known for its Toyota like reliability, with issues like the (plastic, why would anyone make a plastic water pump, not even on the belt!) water pump, belt tensioner, and the higher mileage ones burning some oil. The entry costs are low, as low as $5k in my area, but will I have a decent enough experience wheee Iβm not in the shop as my second home? I understand these vehicles are meticulous about their maintenance, and cannot be beat on like the neighborhood Civic with 7 different color body panels. Maintenance
... keep reading on reddit β‘Tried looking everywhere on the internet but can't seem to find anything. I want to engine swap my 2007 bmw e90 3 series to a 4L ford Barra engine. I want to know if it's possible and if anyone knew of a rough estimate on prices and what I would need to look out for?
Hey guys i want to buy myself a used Series 3 Bmw E90 but i dont know how durable that car is and for how many km it can last on average and which parts are the weekest. Could you guys tell me that?
Hi Guys,
Not an expert, but i want to bring my experience to the community,
If any of you have more experience, or wants to tip in some info, more than welcome.
If you already have SWC on your car, they are likely connected to the CANBUS, then managed and fed to the stereo and whatever else you control from the SWC.
So as far as i got with this, there are 2 ways you can feed the push of these buttons to the RPI;
- Easiest one, is to buy a SWC CANBUS decoder, these are sold on the bay for Β£20 to 50, but if you are in the UK you can get these from Halfords too at similar price, they are usually utilized to bring the SWC to aftermarket stereo, so i assume that there will be some wiring cut to be done, as they will likely have ISO connectors, apparently they are programmable too, so i believe it will be an easy job to adapt them to our beloved RPi.
- More difficult in terms of wiring and opening up the car, but definitely more cost effective, is to take the wires right at the button itself, and extend them to the RPI, not sure how doable it is, you will probably have to take the wheel off, and at thee same time, is quite difficult to reverse for when you sell the car.
I think i will soon go to the First option, but i am looking to see if that can be done with an Arduino before i buy the actual decoder.
Please share your comments,
Ciao
I just want to get your opinion...
The model that start it all, the classic and iconic E21 was inadvertently omitted from the title.
Nothing But Magic: The BMW 3 Series turn 40 this year (March, 2015), and we have experience nothing but magic from the best selling BMW model.

Does anyone have these and can tell me if theyβre worth it and what they all come with?

I'm in the market for a "new" car and I was pretty set on getting a used 3 series, but I see same year A4's with less miles for around the same price and I love the look of Audi's but I was always steered away from them because everyone says they're filled with electrical problems and a friend of mine with a 2012 a4 has his car in the shop all the time for lots of small problems. Are B7 A4's any more unreliable than an e90 3 series bmw and what are the main problems for A4's of this generation? The ones I would be looking at have around 80,000-110,000 miles on them.
