A list of puns related to "Author! Author! (film)"
Edit: Alright everyone, we're going to have to stop here. Thank you for asking such insightful questions and apologies to those we did not get to! If you want to learn more about Ruby Ridge in the modern context, we hosted a live discussion featuring Barak Goodman and Jess Walter that you can watch now on YouTube.
Ruby Ridge airs tonight at 9/8c on PBS or stream it now on our website.
The 1992 siege at Ruby Ridge, Idaho, which led to the deaths of Sammy Weaver, Vicki Weaver, and Deputy U.S. Marshal William Degan, mesmerized the nation and left some convinced that the federal government was out of control. The event not only became a catalyst for the Oklahoma City bombing, but set the stage for the growth of militia groups today. Echoes of the Ruby Ridge incident can be seen all the way up through January 6 at the U.S. Capitol.
Barak Goodman, director of American Experienceβs documentaries "Ruby Ridge" and "Oklahoma City", and Daniel Levitas, author of "The Terrorist Next Door: The Militia Movement and the Radical Right" are here to answer your questions about the event that helped give rise to the modern militia movement.
Ask them anything about Ruby Ridge and the rise of the modern militia movement in America!
Weβll start answering questions at noon EDT (one hour from when this was posted).

Give up.
The new film adaptation of Books of Blood just premiered on Hulu last week, so I hope youβve seen it by now. Iβm really proud of the way Brannon Braga brought my words to life, and I hope you have some questions about it.
I also have a new novel, Deep Hill, a large collection of out-of-print short stories, new short stories and a novella called Mercy and the Jackal, with the collection to be called Fear Eternal.

EDIT
I hope at some point Iβll get a chance to do this again with you all. Itβs been fun imagining who is at the other end of this conversation, and itβs been a pleasure answering such articulate and well-conceived questions. Thank you so much. Have a good time with the Books of Blood movie and I hope we all have another one to show you next year. Take care everybody, keep safe, my love and best wishes to you. β Clive
Hi all! I have a FB group called The Creeptastics! For people who like all things creepy :) We have movie nights, creepy craft nights, (un)happy hours, story slams, and more! Lately, I've been having Meet The Creep nights, to highlight members of the group. Next week I will be talking to Doug Brode, who wrote the soon-to-be-released book The Ship. He also is a storyboard/conceptual artist who has worked on such movies as Harry Potter, Star Trek, The Maze Runner, Planet of the Apes, Van Helsing, House on Haunted Hill, Friday the 13th, Iron Man, and many more! If you're interested in talking to him, please join the group and you will be able to get in on the Zoom session!
Conspiracy theorists might be insane but holy crap, I gotta give credit to them for how creative, complex and interesting their theories are. The entertainment industry definitely needs them, especially with the growing concerns about how they're lacking creativity. Idk what you guys think but I think it's a tad better than marginalising them.
So I'm an associate producer for this film, mostly helping behind the scenes. I've done some script workshopping for it, and I think it's going to be really solid. Everything's Fire opened up their campaign late yesterday, so if you're able to contribute or share, they'd greatly appreciate it!
Indiegogo for "They Watch - Horror Feature Film"
That's the proof of concept made before the campaign, imagine what they can do with real money. Seriously, their camera work and pacing is *chef's kiss.* AND...one of the cool perks is a signed copy of "Weird Pennsylvania" by author Matt Lake, who will also be IN the movie!!
Don't wait, please contribute today for a special early bird perk, and/or share with your friends! Please vote with your dollas!
To be honest, when I heard about The Expanse I was a bit nervous because Iβd just been burned by The Passage and itβs adaption by Fox. After reading the first two Expanse novels, I refused to watch the show because I was afraid of how the network would bastardize the source material.
I hope that authors are taking notice of how this was done, and advocate for their work better. (Looking right at you World War Z)
