Just got back to playing Magic, and I was looking for a store or a playgroup to play EDH with. Admittedly I only have one deck and I'm also possibly looking for somewhere to draft so I can sink my teeth back into Magic after a quite long break. I live in the 626 area but I can travel out a decent distance for a solid group or store.
My betta tiny passed away. Her swim bladder finally did her in. Looking to convert her now clean and planter Spec V into a shrimp and snail home. Looking for adults. No sakuras or fancies. Wild type and not so red work. Can pay or will trade or trade and pay. I have a buce and Anubias to trade.
I have at&t dsl and it sucks, plain and simple. I have a cap, its slow at random ass hours, and unfortunately for me, I can't increase my speed unless I move to U-verse. What are your suggestions?
I am looking for someone with whom I can share some time with.
I have pretty nerdy interests, so someone who enjoys stuff like bad movies, video games and comics is greatly appreciated.

Due to last minute family business, I won't be able to attend.
If you're in the need for a last minute 2-day VIP band, or two for yourself and a lucky friend, I've got 'em.
626/SGV area of LA for pickup. Can provide proof of purchase.
$250/ea or $420 for both. $220/ea or $375 for both. If you'd like both, I'll throw in the 2021 Beyond magnet too.
Now this I can back up with evidence!
But title says it all.

Hi! I'm a young working professional 26f looking for a nice place renting month to month, starting in Feb. I'm an LA local, lived here for over 5 years, and I speak/read fluent Chinese. I love playing video games, watch anime, swimming (I used to swim competitively), board games, and learning new languages. I try to remove myself from a sedentary lifestyle so I also do runs and maybe some yoga at home. I'm a chill person just tryna quarantine and eat good food in 626. I work from home during the day so I'll mostly be in my room.
Looking for a room somewhere under 1200/mo and preferable furnished. Private bathroom is a plus. Just need a comfy bed, a desk, and a monitor in the room, and if there's a monitor already there that's a plus.
Would be happy to have a roommate(s), male or female is ok, as long as they're very covid conscientious.
I'm American, originally from Los Angeles, moved to Montreal by way of NYC. I kept my US phone number when I moved, and one thing I've noticed is that any time I give someone my phone number, they see the area code, give me a crazy look like I owe them an explanation, and then ask me where I'm from.
Why is this a thing? I can't recall having ever been curious about where an area code I didn't recognize is from, much less such a desire to know that I would actively ask a stranger about it. The entire time I lived in NYC no one ever asked me about my area code, despite the fact that it's from a random area outside Los Angeles that most people never would have seen before. But here it happens like once a week. It's bizarre.
