Hello! I am selling a great condition Apple Watch Series 5 Space Gray Aluminum version. This is a GPS only model. Boxes, manual, and an unused charger will be included, as well as the original sport band that came with the watch (see photos). The wall adapter will NOT be included.

The watch condition is great with a few minor and hairline scratches on the screen. The back side also has visible scratches near the button to release the band. These are hard to notice unless you get the light in a certain way. Otherwise, nothing wrong with the watch and has a 90% battery condition.

My grandfather found it and did not know what it was, he thought it was broken because the screen was black. I tried both Apple store and Apple chat but did not get anything more than to see if there’s an emergency contact and take it to the police.

I bought a charger as it was out of battery. There’s no emergency contact. The Apple Watch is locked. If I cannot find the owner I will take it to the police, but based on what other people have said, the police are unlikely to get it back to the owner. Also there’s reason to believe the owner might not even be in/from the UK.

Is there anything else I can try?

There’s no lost screen or anything like that. It does have a serial number that I gave to Apple but they didn’t seem to do anything with it. Seems a shame for it to end up discarded.

I have the apple watch series 5, which I got for my birthday last year. It’s been a little over a year now and i’ve no issues with it. I’ve noticed that my battery has been draining faster than normal. normally I can sleep with it on every other night and charge it the next day. Especially when I work, I start at 100% and by the time I get home it’s already at 30%. I try to close all my apps when not in use as much as possible. Before it used to start at 100%, and at the least get to maybe 70%. Now I have to charge it every night.

Of course my iphone has to updated before I can update it but I’m very wary of updating to ios 15 as I have older iphone (iphone xr) and as far as I know you cannot update the watch without updating the phone. I just recently updated to ios 14.8.1 for those who haven’t updated to ios 15, but still cannot update my apple watch to latest software. I hoping that if i update my watch, it could help with making my battery last longer throughout the day. Does anyone have this issue or is it just me. it could be just me having a slightly older apple watch. idk 🤷🏽‍♀️

I recently have an issue with my Apple Watch locking itself on me after a few seconds when I put it on. I don’t have anything between my wrist and Watch (like a bracelet, for example) and my watch fits me well, not loose nor tight. I’ve turned my phone and watch off and on and resetted my watch but still no luck. Does anyone have any tips of what may be causing this issue and any possible solutions for this? TIA!
