A list of puns related to "Annie Mac"
Both are: Irish, LGBT+, and have\had Dads in prison. Also, they have multiple incarnations (regular Mac, fat Mac, buff Mac.)
Almost the same person imo.
I'm so sick of the inconsistency between gluten free pastas. The box said cook 7-9 minutes. I cooked for 11 and it was still hard and pasty, and the sauce was thin and flavorless. There are already so many fewer easy meals I can have since my diagnosis and I'm on my period so I'm in a ton of pain and nauseated, and sitting down to eat a disgusting bowl of "mac and cheese" has pushed my directly over the edge. I just need a meal I can stomach when I can't stand up to cook for very long. I'm so disappointed.
End of rant. I'm going to bed.
I know Danny Howard has replaced her Friday night Radio 1 slot but I canβt work out if heβs playing the sort of EDM Annie played (which I loved) or whether heβs playing his slightly (IMO) chavvy dance he used to play on his Saturday slot. Either way, he doesnβt bring the energy anything like AM used to! Thoughts?
I am living overseas and Iβd like to attempt to make Annieβs Mac and Cheese (white cheddar or normal cheddar) without the box.
Itβs small shell pasta and the sauce is a subtle, slightly runny sauce that clings to the shells. It has a really nice tangy, slightly nutty mild cheddar flavour.
Iβd like to challenge myself to try to make it perfectly.
The usual recipe has a cheese powder which you add to a small amount of simmered milk, plus added butter.
I understand mac and cheese from scratch usually requires some kind of emulsification. Iβve heard cream cheese suggested, various emulsifying powders, and Iβve also seen an Italian simple cheese sauce where the cheese is melted in I think butter at a very low temperature so it does not become stringy. Iβve tried cream cheese and I found it hard to use enough to emulsify the cheese/thicken the sauce but not so much it affects the flavour, taking on too much of the chalky yet neutral flavour of cream cheese.
First of all, should I even use sharp cheddar? Real cheddar has an intense bite to it. The beauty of Annieβs is itβs not actually overpoweringly cheese-flavoured.
Iβm guessing ratios will be the secret trick here.
Can anyone suggest the right ratios of simmered milk, certain types of cheeses, butter, and possibly a necessary emulsifier of some kind?
Thanks very much.
Is anyone else aware that thereβs a lawsuit currently undergoing for these fuckers? Apparently they are aware of the fact their shit has micro plastics that cause a load of serious problems and havenβt disclosed it.. my 6yo and I ate a bowl each yesterday and have had non stop diarrhea and vomiting along with chills and extreme stomach pain. Havenβt had any other food for 24 hours and am having problems drinking water without throwing it up. Both out of work and school till we can figure out how to stop puking
I have a ticket going spare for Annie Mac at Foundry on the 19th of nov if anyone is interested
Just chilling and enjoying the various songs from Annie's years in radio.
Shes an absolute legend isn't she?
Wonder what the last song will be.
This was beyond ridiculous. I canβt see how Kroeger can stand for this. Annie Mac or as we call it in my house Bunny Rabbit Mac and Cheese is delicious. Itβs so fang that you sometimes need to make 2 boxes just for yourself.
I found out recently that they are changing the label to a more realistic rabbit and I am just furious. It no longer is cute and whimisical- itβs now sick and fucked up, realistic and hairy like an actual hare or an actual meat rabbit, one youβd kill for meat.
This is going to just fuck the brand more than anything. Itβs a total load of balooka. The flavor will be different, the experience will be different. I literally bought every single box in Western Nevada. God help Me if it doesnβt last me through my death or even worse my suicide.

I just was so dang hungry that I couldnβt wait to cook a whole Annieβs Mac and cheese box which I only eat boxes with the old logo on the box because that rabbit is just damn more whimsical.
Well I just tore right into the salt packets and let me tell You that shit was so damn good I pretty well much stained my entire face of the stuff. If we sold Annieβs salt packets like this here then damn and I mean pretty well much dangβ¦it would just sell like hot cakes pretty well much do.
Good day all,
I have, for the first time in my life, tried Annie's Mac and Cheese. And I regret to report that I was slightly underwhelmed. I felt it was lacking in flavour somewhat.
So what's going on here? Am I incapable of making box mac and cheese? Did our spiritual leader, Jacob Penn Cooper Blumenwitz, deceive us? Is Kraft just better than Annie's? Is Headgum bought by big pasta? Does a yeast feast for this cheesed beast make those tittees taste dece? I rimmed my Uncle. At Stagecoach.
With these questions threatening the integrity of this community, I would like some good clean clarity in the polls. But more importantly, I would like to spark a discussion over the identity of the GOAT box mac and cheese.
annieβs mac n cheese is so good wtff shit is organic too like mmmm
