A list of puns related to "Angry Orchard"
Title says it all....anyone?
Iβve seen 16oz cans of Angry Orchard in many gas stations next to 4lokos etc. Is Angry Orchard a trashy beverage?
Couple of years ago, I discovered Angry Orchard ciders and wines. Now I can find the ciders anywhere, but Iβll be dammed. I cannot find the wines anymore cause I probably started like them. Does anyone know where I can buy and get it shipped to me? Or anything similar?
Does anyone know of any online sites that ships Angry Orchard internationally to Europe? I would love to surprise someone who still talks about Angry Orchard 6 years after a US visit.
Iβve been wanting to try this but canβt find any ingredient information online. Anyone have experience with this? Thank you
How about y'all?
Hey there! Hope this kind of question is welcome here, as this sub seems to be mostly about homemade cider and this is about the store-bought kind, but didn't know who better to ask...
I was wondering if anyone knows how to decipher the five-digit date codes on bottles of Angry Orchard cider? (Referring to the code printed at the bottom-right corner of the nutrition label on the back of the bottle.)
(EDIT: Should've mentioned, but I already spent quite a while scouring the internet for this, to no avail. Got answers for practically every beer manufacturer under the sun, but nothing at all for Angry Orchard. Not sure why it's so secret...)
For example, I just bought a six-pack with a code of 21055. I've read that with some breweries, it's coded as the last digit(s) of the year it was bottled followed by the day of the year (out of 365 [or 366]) it was bottled, but clearly we aren't 55 days into 2021 yet, so that can't be it in this case. (Oddly enough, just noticed that at the bottom-right of the label on the front of the bottles, the code 21056 is actually printed - one greater. Not sure why.)
If it helps, I noticed that on the inside of the cardboard case (though nowhere on the actual bottles), the date 12/22/2020 is printed. Makes me even more confused as to what 21055 (or 21056) is referring to.
These bottles also have an inkjet code printed near the neck of the bottle; not sure if that has anything to do with the date. For these, the code is "P0181053862E." There's one more even harder-to-read code printed near the bottom of the bottle: "01028 21A0105."
I have one older bottle left over from my last six-pack, with a date code of 20176. Don't have the cardboard case anymore, so can't confirm what date was printed there. Trying to get an idea of how old it is / when it was bottled. The inkjet code near the neck seems to be "P282019462E," though the last couple characters are a little worn/hard to decipher. The code at the bottom - printed much more legibly on this bottle - is "41212 4200423." (Of course, any of those 0's could be O's; to fit the pattern of the newer bottles, the first 0 would be an O, as in "41212 42O0423." They look exactly the same to me, though.)
Any help on deciphering the bottle date from any or all of these codes is greatly appreciated. I know cider doesn't really "go bad," I just like to have an idea of the approximate freshness of what I'm drinking. (Seems like you shouldn't need a secret decoder ring t

Just needed to be sad about it somewhere.
