My grandpa unfortunately passed away 13 years ago. He fought in WW2 in the Navy on many ships and got bomber a number of times. He must have had such an interesting life but I only have memories of his stories to hold on to, which fade over time.
Is there any way I can find information on him as an individual in the Navy? Missions he went on, deployments etc. in some sort of public record library?
