Hej from the United States! I am a huge fan of Danish cinema, especially Mads Mikkelsen. We recently watched the Anders Thomas Jensen movie "Riders of Justice" (Retfærdighedens Ryttere) and found it completely amazing. I have a question about one song on the soundtrack that has been nonstop in my head and I can't find it anywhere, so I thought that r/denmark might be able to help.
There is a scene in the movie where Mads gets upset and destroys a bathroom before collapsing in a bloody, crying heap and being comforted by a friend. It's a very sad, beautifully shot scene and it's wonderfully enhanced by the music playing throughout. It's some sort of choral singing, with no instrumentation. I would say it sounds religious, possibly even Christmas themed.
Anyway, the song is not listed on the soundtrack (though there are similar sounding songs that are) and I am at a loss trying to find it. Does anyone who has seen the movie know what I'm talking about? Any pointers in the right direction even would be so helpful! Mange tusind tak!

A few years ago a friend turned me on to the films of Danish director Anders Thomas Jensen. The first film I watched was Flickering Lights, followed by The Green Butchers, Wilbur Wants To Kill Himself and most recently Adam's Apples. Men & Chicken is next on my list.
There is something so great in these films. They are all a bit peculiar but not surreal and they all play with emotion so well.
Can anyone recommend any other films by Jensen or perhaps films by other directors that you found just as enjoyable for similar reasons or their own unique dynamic?
The singer of the popular German Band Modern Talking used to have long hair, make-up and a feminine presenting style. During his career he was admired by women (and probably men as well?) and he usually carried a noticeable necklace with the name of his girlfriend Nora.
To me it is impressive how beauty standards can change. Today he looks like the average guy and dropped his funky style. My bi ass thinks he is gorgeous.
