A list of puns related to "Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld"
I'm curious about people's opinion because the Amethyst series has largely gone unnoticed (not just the 2021 graphic novel)
Here's my review of it: I give it a 7/10, I like the anime-ish art style, and Amy's character development, but it needs more action scenes. The only woke part of the story was prince Topaz wanting sparkling nail polish, and that was done originally, unlike the other comics that shove LGBTQ+ (not that I have a problem with representation, I personally like girl on girl romance). The saddest part is this is a good potential for a full length animated series. I can definitely see Amy trying to defend both Earth and gemworld from threats, discovering ways to use magic on Earth, conflict with daily life (Kevin on Earth and the adults on gemworld). Unfortunately just like the "mature" I am not starfire this seems to be a one shot that won't continue (atleast as far as I know). If it does continue, I would like it to follow the same formula as the animated series of spectacular spiderman or W.I.T.C.H, because those shows managed to balance the conflict between school life and fighting evil.
Here are some random images of the series that I like

Please let me know your opinions about the graphic novel in the comments.
Also which would you like to happen?
I read this comic and really enjoyed because it's not some big Superhero, not some incredible story, but just comic to rest your mind and enjoy. Wonder if there are more comics like this with easy story, and let's say with B list heroes.
###Biography
###โ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ฐ ๐๐
>Nilaaโsometimes known as Gemworldโwas a realm of crystal-based magic, governed by powerful noble houses descended from the people of Earth millennia ago. House Amethyst, and half of its magical bloodpower, came under the control of Lady Mordiel, whose hunger for power forced her sister Graciel to flee to Earth with her newborn daughter. There, Graciel trained her daughter in preparation for her seventeenth birthday, when she too would be able to claim a portion of the Amethyst bloodpower as Princess Amaya of House Amethyst.
>Upon learning of and returning to Gemworld, Amaya gained a third of the Amethyst bloodpower, it split evenly with her mother and her aunt. The benefits of this power included enhanced physicals, the power to create light-like constructs, and the ability to serve as a catalyst for other magics. She also inherited some of the latent powers of her father's House Turquoise, a house that's power was vested in transformation.
>Adapting to her new powers and station was difficult for Amaya, though not as difficult as coming to terms with having to kill her enemies, After only a short while on Nilla, Amaya was forcibly recruited by John Constantine to Earth's Justice League Dark. He returned her home, but betrayed her by also allowing Nilla's banished evil, Eclipso, passage back to their homeworld. With the fate of Nilaa hanging in the balance, Graciel and Mordeil both donated their power to Amaya, allowing her to defeat Eclipso and save the world.

>Amaya's good fortunes were not to last. Apokolips' invasion of Earth spilled over onto Nilaa. Amaya called upon the Justice League Dark for help, but Constantine again betrayed her by using Nilaa as a prison for the Apokolips forces. With Gemworld lost, Amaya's connection to her magical powers was greatly weakened.
>The former princess became an agent of S.H.A.
... keep reading on reddit โกAll I know about her is from the animated short on DC Universe. From what little it was, the world felt grand, colorful, and had humor. Qualities I believe the general audience like to expect from super hero movies. The advantage DC has compared to its competition is spearheading female lead movies so adding another to their list is a plus. It being a child lead hero film will also be popular with the family audience. I was thinking that maybe Ms. DuVernay can work on this movie instead of the New Gods if she's interested.
From what I can look up it looks like their isn't much comics on Amethyst. So spending time reading all her comics will be easy. It also gives the director even more liberty to make it their own thing. Since there aren't many comics I'm assuming it isn't popular, but I imagine a movie would be pretty successful. It might even revive her comic! I'm pushing it a bit, but it could probably be the next Harley Quinn in terms of selling merchandise. I see more pros than cons to why DC should move forward with this movie.
"I used to stay in my room all the time, afraid of what others would think. There's a whole, big, scary world out there waiting to be explored. Go out there and have some fun!"
One day, Amy Winston was struggling with level 6 of a game due to a glitch making it unbeatable, when a voice from her console called her name. Before she knew it, she was unwillingly sucked into a portal, given her princess outfit, and rather unceremoniously plunged into Gemworld. Now, as Princess Amethyst, she must travel the land, seeking to find the missing gem, save the frog prince, and stop Dark Opal.
