A list of puns related to "American Heist"
Ok this was made in 2018 and released at Sundance film Festival to great acclaim. So yes itβs old, but to be honest Iβm just catching up because of Covid; I feel like a literally lost a year in terms of movie watching. Been busy with a lot of other, more pressing things.
in any event, what are amazing movie! Rotten tomatoes resident 88 out of 100 with an 81 out of 100 credit score. Not only a great tale of a true rare book heist, the movie found a way to break the third wall so that in many parts of the movie you actually see the real life characters interacting with the movie actors.
It was compelling, gripping, and most of all, you got to really get a sense of the real life emotions of a heist as there are interviews with the victims/robbers embedded throughout the movie.
Highly recommend, worth ordering the cineplex popcorn through Uber eats for this one for sure! πΏπΏπΏπΏπΏπΏ
So, I've posted here before, but just a note: I buy most all movies(98%) second hand. Whether that be yard sales, Facebook, and more predominantly the pawn shop. Now most all people remove the codes when they use them, but some people do not. Jeep that in mind please, and I honestly don't know much about digital codes. Just that others use them, but I prefer physical media. So that being said it's FCFS comment which code you'd like, and I'll pm it to you.
*** I have been told even if a code says it's expired that most of the time they still work, so I will post the ones that say expired too, as I've only had one person (100s of codes) say that an "expired" one didn't work ***
ETA, 4K codes-ant man and wasp, and spiderman, Blu ray codes- ghost in a shell, and bridesmaids, DVD- American heist,What's left is, insurgent, and I also have star wars the last Jedi- Blu ray
All gone!! Thank you everyone, I'm glad you all could enjoy them!
Hey there, folks!
My name's Antoine, an audio engineer who does a lot of indie books. I've got a pair of clients who are looking for one male and one female to voice their 180K word Sci-Fi Heist epic.
Narrators name their PFH.
You would not need to edit at all, just record and send over for me to edit, master, and finish. If you'd like to vet me and my service, please DM.
And here is a short breakdown of the project below:
NACL: Eye of the Storm is a peculiar book. It is an Arcanepunk Science-Fantasy marketed as Humorous and Dark. What we are looking for is a narration with a ton of energy, and who can capture the oceanic setting of the world. American, Caribbean, Australian, or Pacific-Island accents are preferred. The narrators should feel comfortable voicing a variety of distinct and different roles, as well as a certain amount of AI/computerized voices. Should also be comfortable narrating a high volume of curse words. NACL will be part of a longer series, so we are looking for a narrator to stick with us through the entire process.
So Iβve got a pre employment coming up and I have failed a quick fix before due to unusual temp. My nerves also get the best of me while in there because I have so much riding on it. I have a buddy that looks very similar to me, like same comb over same height. He has my info memorized and Iβm thinking about sending him into the gulag for me. Iβm trying to find out possible repercussions if we are discovered but the idea is so crazy I havenβt been able to find any. I told him at worst I lose the job opportunity but wanted to check with you guys.
Hey, there was this one movie and I remember very little of it. It was a group of African American people, two of which were together and had a child (daughter I think). I think they said (at some point) they'd do one last job and hoesntly I cant remember what job exactly but I briefly remember that at some point they used the top of a train as transport. I have a feeling it was bank heists but dont take my word for granted.
Katie goes overboard in her efforts to help J.D. become a father. Meanwhile, after a brush with the law, Greg worries Taylor may be a political liability.
American Animals (2018) is a great heist movie that Iβve never heard of until today
I found this movie scrolling through Hulu today. Itβs a true story based on a rare book heist that took place at Transylvania University in the early 2000s.
Itβs got interviews with the guys who did the heist and keeps its feet grounded in reality. This movie is a fun little thriller that nobody ever talks about.
Give it a shot, Iβm sure anyone who likes a heist movie would enjoy it
maybe in Alaska?
seemed the guy had to do it to pay off a mobster who lived on a boat because he wasn't allowed to come ashore or he would be arrested or something
the guy trying to pull the heist was getting a job(maybe) from the people who ran the casino, so they made him go on one of those 'soul finding missions' by taking peyote and wandering the woods
there was a female cop on his tail who always said a lot of idioms but would say them wrong, like mix two of them together into one .... an example might be something like(but this likely isn't a quote from the movie) 'don't burn that bridge until you cross it' instead of 'wait to cross that bridge till when you get to it' and/or 'don't burn your bridges'
I watched a movie on a flight sometime in 2018 or 2019. It was either Chinese or Japanese, and there was a chase scene where the heroes lost the people tracking them by helicopter by going through a tunnel. They paid a random American to drive a similar truck under the same bridge at the same time to throw off the choppers. The American gets pulled over, eating a burger, and says something like "Hey, is it illegal to eat a burger, man?"
I think there were four friends that were getting back together to pull off one final job for their old mentor, but I may be getting it confused with another movie I watched on the same flight.
Does anybody know what the movie is?
- Best series: La Casa de Papel
- Best main male character: Γlvaro Morte (El Profesor)
- Best secundary woman character: Alba Flores (Nairobi)
About movies, Pedro Almodovar with 5 awards was the winner with Dolor y Gloria. Antonio Banderas won the best actor, the main character of the film.
Edit: remember La Casa de Papel won an International Emmy Award in 2018.
I could list more if that's useful.
I would class them as good dramas or thrillers, but good is obviously subjective. I like a good twist, something clever, different.
