Aleksandar Rakić (Light Heavyweight) Record: 11-1 UFC Record: 3-0
UFC fights thus far
Unanimous Decision win over Francimar Barroso at UFC Fight Night: Struve vs Volkov
Unanimous Decision win over Justin Ledet at UFC Fight Night: Shogun vs Smith
1st Round TKO win over Devin Clark at UFC 231
Fight breakdown
Rakić made his UFC debut at Fight Night: Struve vs Volkov against UFC veteran Francimar Barroso. Rakić was able to pick Barroso apart at range, never really letting him find his rhythm. Alexsander Did get taken down a couple of times but he was able to get up fairly easily. Overall an impressive debut against a good veteran for the prospect.
Rakić returned to the octagon against Justin Ledet. In this fight Rakić used powerful leg kicks early, and was able to take Ledet down quickly in round one. Using solid top control and heavy ground and pound he was able to control the remainder of the round. In round 2 Rakić continued with the powerful leg kicks, landing good shots on the feet before knocking Ledet down with a low kick. Rakić proceeded back into top control where he remained for the rest of the round as he used more powerful ground and pound to control Ledet. Round 3 Rakić gained another takedown early and continued to dominate with the top control and ground and pound for the rest of the round. The score cards read as one of the most dominant fights of all time as the judges gave Rakić the win by scores of 30-25, 30-24, and 30-24.
In his third trip to the octagon Rakić battled Devin Clark. Entering the fight as a -600 favorite, Rakić eventually proved the oddsmakers correct but not without some adversity. Clark came out swinging and hurt Rakić early, landing a good knockdown. Rakić was able to quickly recover though, even through eating several incredibly illegal knees. Rakić quickly turned the tide in his favour as he hurt Clark in a scramble, quickly putting Devin to sleep. Another impressive win for the Austrian.
Skill breakdown
Rakic is a physical beast, he stands 6 foot 5 inches and uses every single part of that height to the best of his ability. What Rakić excels at are his leg kicks and his boxing. He has some of the b

[Based on their resume, performances, level of success/dominance, and technique.]
Honorable Mentions: Kattar, Riddell, Ngannou, Usman, Askarov, Masvidal, O’Malley, Burgos, Emmett, Tsarukyan, Shahbazyian, Reyes, Hooker, Mousasi, & Costa.
㉕ Arnold Allen: I think Allen is one of the most underrated Fighters/Strikers in the Sport. He has great Movement, great Boxing, he’s illusive, and he’s got some power to go along with all of that.
㉔ Giga Chikadze: In the near future, I think Chikadze could end up being much higher on a list like this, but I still feel like there hasn’t been enough from him to definitively prove that he’s one of the Elite Strikers in MMA—despite having a background of Elite Striking. I think he has some of the best kicks on the Roster; I’m just curious to see how he does against someone like Holloway or Volk; because, even though Barboza is a Great Striker, he’s never really been “unbeatable” or impossible to outstrike. So, I’d like to see how Giga does against some other Great Strikers that have been tougher to beat.
㉓ Tom Aspinall: Tom is another Fighter that I wanted to put much higher because of how-obviously-great-his Striking is; But I Feel like he just needs one or two more Fights against legit opponents to solidify himself as an Elite MMA Striker. But from what we’ve seen from him so far, he looks like he’s bound to be one of Greatest Strikers in the Sport. He is without question, one of the Best Boxers.
㉒ Jiří Procházka: Jiri is one of those Strikers that doesn’t really utilize “perfect technique”, but he is so successful and effective—so consistently, that I think he has to be considered an Elite Striker. I thought about including Ngannou because of his effectiveness along with the improvements he’s made—I just don’t know if I would consider him as an Elite Striker because we don’t know if he would be as consistent—if he wasn’t at HW.
㉑ Aleksandar Rakić: Another extremely underrated Striker/Fighter. Rakic has All-Around excellent Striking, great Hands, and he’s also got power.
⒛ Rafael Fiziev: One of the most talented/technical Strikers in the Sport. Amazing kicks, amazing head movement, great Boxing, good power … He has an insane amount of potential; He occasionally gets a little too emotional and gets caught, but if he can fix that and keep improving, he’ll definitely be one of the best Strikers in the Sport.

After watching and re-watching highlights, I made a top five winners and losers list for my friend who wasn’t able to watch and wanted a summary. I thought I’d share and see if others agreed.
TLDR at the bottom with the full rankings for people who don’t want to read it al
Top Five Losers
Out of the twelve fights, three betting favorites “lost” (more on that later), and Kamaka is one of those unfortunately. Regardless of how you felt about the outcome and the body of work Kamaka had last night, a loss is a loss, and having lost 2/3 of his UFC fights does not bode well for Kamaka. First losing by a KO and then a split decision. There is still some hope as he has shown that he is a capable striker with a powerful punch and the split decision and potnential robbery only lands him at 5
Another favorite who lost, but gets 4th due to losing by a unanimous decision. Sanders took a round off of Colares, but over 3 rounds Colares proved to be the better fighter. Another reason for him being a loser is because of his spotty record, he is stuck in limbo. Since having a KO victory in February 2019, Sanders has lost two in a row as well, and things are looking up. At 35, it will be interesting to see where he can go from here, but being a slight favorite and opening the card up with a loss does not bode well.
Reyes was a slight underdog, but was a championship contender for his last two fights and many thought he could outlast Prochazka and hit him with a good hit or grapple with the youngster. Although the first round was exciting with either fighter looking like they could knock the other out, Jiri ended up on top. This fight could have propelled Reyes back into title contention, but the brutal knockout will slide him further down now with three straight loses. Although an underdog, he gets the third spot because even with a valiant effort, this loss was brutal for his chances especially with other Light heavyweights racking up wins.
Botelho was the biggest favorite to lose, thus she gets the 2nd ranking in the top five losers. Although she was handled easily by Gillian Robertson a few months ago, Botelho looked to have an easy win wit ha relatively new UFC fighter in Carolina with only 3 UFC fights under her belt. But her fighting style didn’t win her the match and she got gassed by the 2nd round. This is not a good look for her ad overall was a pretty ugly fight ending in a decisio
... keep reading on reddit ➡Thiago Santos vs. Aleksandar Rakić
Winner: THIAGO SANTOS. Why? Santos is a little faster, and has better striking in his hands. Rakic has power, but he has a lot of openings, and often gets caught on the chin. But how long will his durability last? Santos may knock him out. Although if it doesn't happen in the first or second round, the fight will probably go the distance. But this is not a good place to put your money on because skill-wise they are very close to each other. They both like throwing those leg kicks, and swinging big leather.
Islam vs. Drew Dober
Winner: DREW DOBER. Most people are picking Islam to win because he is very good at Sambo. The takedowns will determine whether or not he wins. But he is not on the level of someone like Khabib, so Dober's high school wrestling can carry him through. And Dober's power, and accuracy of strikes will likely get him the W. Islam might get knocked out.
Petr Yan vs. Aljamain Sterling
Winner: ALJAMAIN STERLING. He's good in the feet, and on the ground. He's also a lot longer than Petr Yan. Yan will have a hard time reaching him. This looks like it's gonna be a decision win for Al. Likely, he will stay on the outside with those long kicks, and straight punches. Although I would not underestimate Yan. There's a reason why this is a 50/50 a the betting houses.
Amanda Nunes vs. Megan Anderson
Winner: AMANDA NUNES. I had to think about this one a few times. Sure, Anderson is longer, and bigger, and has some pop to her strikes, but my guess is Nunes is just going to take her down, and beat her up. I doubt Nunes's plan is to keep it on the feet, and we know that Anderson's achilles heel is her wrestling. It's not bad, but is it good enough to beat Nunes? This is going to be a very boring fight. Ha-ha-ha. If you will be betting this is a fight to put down some cash. If Amanda doesn't win, holy shit, but you're likely not going to lose your money. Although the payout isn't great. - 1000 for Amanda! The profits are too small. I'd avoid this one.
Jan vs. Izzy
Winner: ISRAEL ADESANYA. This is the money fight. What does Jan have to threaten Izzy? His power? Izzy's got power too, but he's faster, sharper, and is comfortable fighting in the pocket, or outside. This is a man that is truly in his prime. Though Jan is not going to crumble like a cookie, Israel is going to beat the crap out of him, unless he gets cocky, and plays around too much. This is the fight to bet on.
... keep reading on reddit ➡I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT NSFW, THIS IS ABOUT LONG JOKES, BLONDE JOKES, SEXUAL JOKES, KNOCK KNOCK JOKES, POLITICAL JOKES, ETC BEING POSTED IN A DAD JOKE SUB
Try telling these sexual jokes that get posted here, to your kid and see how your spouse likes it.. if that goes well, Try telling one of your friends kid about your sex life being like Coca cola, first it was normal, than light and now zero , and see if the parents are OK with you telling their kid the "dad joke"
I'm not even referencing the NSFW, I'm saying Dad jokes are corny, and sometimes painful, not sexual
So check out r/jokes for all types of jokes
