Ever since watching the Spiderman: No Way Home trailer I've been wondering who the Lady in the car (played by Paula Newsome) next to Peter was. I think I've worked it out.

I came to this conclusion after watching a Youtube video of the Spiderman The Animated Series from the 90s. It was one of my favorite cartoons when growing up (this and the X-Men cartoon are pretty much responsible for my love of Marvel). After seeing some of the clips in the video I saw her cartoon character but couldn't quite remember her character's name (as it has been nearly 25+ years since I last saw the show). So I did some research on the IMDb page and came across the credit of Dawnn Lewis as >!Detective Terri Lee!<, so I googled that name and the same character came up.
Now I started comparing the two images and they look extremely similar in their appearance. Both have that purple suit jacket and both have distinctive earrings.To help confirm my theory that they both are the same character I looked at the Marvel Fandom page and saw in their brief history that ">!Detective Terri Lee!< was a police officer who investigated when Spider-Man became a criminal. However, it turned out Spider-Man had been framed by Mysterio for revenge and Spider-Man and Terri teamed up to clear his name.[1]"
That seems rather similar to how Far From Home ends and No Way Home begins.

So a few days ago, I defended a Biracial/B-ethnic lady who was dragged for saying she was Black/Russian instead of Black/White on TikTok.
I basically said that people (Americans in particular) are suddenly playing dumb as if many in the African American community don’t use Black and AA interchangeably regardless of phenotype.
For those that have never seen me I’m racially ambiguous with a lean towards my Spaniard ancestry. I have more Afro -indigenous features than my mom who looks whiter since she’s gotten older due to skin tone being lighter and change in hair texture.
I posted a dedication post that had nothing to do with race and an anonymous poster made two whole videos about me making fun of my mom saying she’s a white lady with curves and it’s disingenuous of me to claim mine come from my African ancestry (this is from someone that says race is phenotype, but when I point out the features I do have, someone always wants to use a white analog to show that white people can have those features too)
They posted pictures of me with some of my white and mestizo presenting relatives saying “not a black person in sight” ignoring the pictures of my black presenting relatives.
They took pictures of me when I was overweight and less healthy to show how much my complexion has darkened saying I was a black fisher.
She posted my DNA results to say 15% of African doesn’t make someone black ignoring the fact that I identify as Afro-indigenous since my indigenous admixture is evenly split and have never claimed to be fully black. Asking me why I don’t just say mostly white, while ignoring that my ethnicity is Boricua and that I’m ambiguous and have been body shamed for having a more Afro leaning soma type.
She ordered me to remove my headwrap so that people could see my hair texture, which is curly but loose. She made fun of my African spirituality saying that I’m not daughter of Oshun and to stop appropriating African spirituality, she made transphobic remarks, and she kept using talking points that I was suggesting that I was fully black.
Then they were basically saying that Fully Black and MLS women elevate our individual experiences to the level of the “collective unambiguously black women” when I don’t see evidence as being “a thing” not to say it doesn’t happen, but lord the bullying and gas lighting so openly too is getting bad.
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.

I am Half Dominican AfroLatina (half white) and I've been overwhelmed with exactly where I want to study under my spiritual path.. It's a little bit confusing for me because I am an extremely white Passing biracial and I've been told by many people that the Lwa do not associate with white people. You know I'm just starting on my path but I feel as though the Lwa do not judge off just appearance.. Like they would know half of my being is African, Caribbean/South American Arawak (Taino/Yutucan Mayan), and only like 5% Spaniard. I mean I could be wrong because I'm not initiated or anything.. I'm just in the beginning stages of researching and connecting.. I've already been working on connecting with my ancestors and since I was a child, if someone I was close to passed, they would visit me in my dreams one time and one time only before they go to wherever they go to.
I definitely know and feel in my heart Vudú is the path i want to go down. I feel so connected to my ancestors the more I research.. But with being Dominican Las 21 Divisiones really resonates with me.. After all the searching and being overwhelmed by the vast amount of real and fake information I feel like I've finally found what I'm looking for. My only issue now is, I don't know where to start.. So I was hoping there is a sub for 21 Divisiones / Dominican Vudù where they might help me correctly start on my path.
