152-79… that was the final score of the Memphis Grizzlies vs OKC Thunder game tonight. OKC lost by 73 points, 73!!! Now when the “Process” Sixers and Hinkie where doing their damn thing, the NBA owners forced Adam Silver into meddling with Hinkie’s plans, ultimately leading to his resignation. My question here is, where Adam Silver in this whole OKC situation? For the last 2 1/2 years OKC have dedicated their “rebuild”, to auctioning off players to acquire massive amounts of draft capital over the next 8-10 seasons, more capital then they’ll even be able to use. But yet I haven’t seen or heard Silver say a word about what’s going on in OKC. What winning culture is being established down there? I’d love to know. Why aren’t NBA owners calling for Sam Presti’s head? I don’t understand it. Am I the only one that’s noticing this hypocrisy?

Simmons is currently setting an extremely blatant precedent that the shield of "mental health" can be used to sit out indefinitely, on a new contract, to force a trade. Simmons doesn't even need a trade, he can simply collect paychecks for 4 years and retire comfortably.

As of now it seems that the Sixers have no legitimate means of recourse. Will the league allow Simmons and Klutch to continue with their current plot? Or are they afraid of stigmatizing legitimate mental health concerns?

"No plans right now to pause the season," Silver said in an interview on NBA Today on Tuesday afternoon. "We have of course looked at all the options, but frankly we are having trouble coming up with what the logic would be behind pausing right now.

"As we look through these cases literally ripping through the country, let alone the rest of the world, I think we're finding ourselves where we sort of knew we were going to get to over the past several months, and that is this virus will not be eradicated, and we're going to have to learn to live with it. I think that's what we're experiencing in the league right now."
