AI complete Puns

There are 4 challenges that you can complete in one AI game to get access to normal game modes.

1. Win the game
2. Loot a supply crate
3. Travel 2000m in a vehicle
4. Get 5 kills

Super easy to do against bots in a single game if you go into the game aiming for these to be completed.

So I've been a fan of racing games and have been for quite sometime, have played Burnout games, Dirt 4, Dirt Rally, numerous other titles but my main comment is on Dirt 5. This game, the AI doesn't even pretend to try hide it's rubber banding. In the 4th event of the campaign (the first track in Italy) I noticed on Medium, that I after numerous attempts could not place past 6th place. After changing difficulty from Medium to Easy, I jetted to first place and won first try. The next stage I noticed something off was the second Foci De Giovo. In the end of this track there is a large jump and a small straightaway until the finish line. I noticed multiple times, that the AI would rocket past me even while I maintained the lead for 75% to 85% of the track.

I'm usually a fan of Dirt games, but this is a massive disappointment. Sure glad the game was free was PS Plus and I didn't pay for it or I would be going right to GameStop with it.

15 hits against Russia and beating Canada by 4 (also the faceoffs challenge, although that's not due to the ice) both seem impossible because every time the AI touches the puck, they just skate backwards and circle around in their own end.

I have my strats maxed for aggression and for forecheck and still can't seem to touch the AI often enough. Any tips?

Turned the game on, drove away from the festival and turned my radio off. Started browsing Reddit and forgot I had the game idling because NOT A SINGLE CAR HAS DRIVEN PAST ME IN 10 MINUTES. Kind of peaceful though.

I've noticed my progress not counting after matches even though I got plenty of kills the progress towards Tier1 skin remains the same?

Every single event, including Spirit Blossom last year which had the same milestone system as this one, allowed you to complete missions in Coop VS. AI. This one doesn't. I really don't like PvP for many reasons, so I really would have liked to just go through the story quickly and get the rewards in bot games.

Am I the only one who thinks this sucks?

EDIT: a Rioter confirmed this event is PvP only. As sad as it is, I'm pretty sure I will have to skip this event. I hope at least that they reconsider it in future events.

So I took a break from the game about 2 days ago and logged on today and finally got premium and I tried playing a couple games. The game searched for 50 seconds or so before finding a match which is really long for me as it has always took about 12 seconds and when I am in a game the AI is completely garbage like way worse than normal. They are slow to get to the point and when they get there they no longer aggressively push nor is it as chaotic as before.

My squad will run out into the open getting themselves killed and will often just stare at the enemy instead of shooting them or start taking pot shots at them every 2-3 seconds or so. During one instance I was playing Tunisia and I was in a small open room full of friendly AI. An enemy AI ran into the open room turned around and ran to the back of the room and just stood there before killing a couple of friendly AI. My squad nor the other friendly AI did anything at all they just stared at him it's not like he snuck up on them the 8 or so AI watched as he ran into the room.

Has this been happening to anyone else I know the AI aren't the smartest but they where never this bad it feels like there was an update that broke the game or something.

So today I successfully completed my first day of NoFap! After I relapsed yesterday, I did a punching bag workout going for 10, 3 minute “rounds” each with a 1 minute break in between. Then I played some Madden and listened to the new Psychologist’s off the Clock podcast on eating behavior with Josh Hillis and continued my reading of Robert Sapolsky’s book: “Why Zebras Don’t Get Ulcers.” After dinner I watched the Devils-Sabres game, and got sucked into a two part series by the Watercooler Neuroscience podcast (episodes 27 & 28) on AI & the video game SOMA. It’s a really interesting mini-series that anyone interested in sci-fi, what neuroscience & psychology has to say about the game/AI & it’s real life implications should check out. This mini-series reminded me of Black Mirror, so I had to watch the White Christmas episode to end the night. Really didn’t have any urges yet, but I did have trouble falling asleep, since MO at least was something I did before falling asleep.

I woke up this morning and drank some coffee while finishing up watching the Huberman Lab Podcast with Dr. David Sinclair. Then I went to the mall, got my booster shot and went out to dinner. Overall, I didn’t have many urges because I was so busy but some thoughts popped in and out of my head, they were easy to distract myself from though.

If so, what tracks and or cars are the best or easiest for obtaining this? Cause atm i am getting destroyed big time :(
