A list of puns related to "A Kind of a Stopwatch"
If Thomas' stopwatch were given to someone with another lifeform inside of them, such as a tapeworm or a baby, would the parasite or the baby also be able to move and live with time stopped? Or would they be frozen same as everyone else?

At the beginning of his opening statement, he takes out a stopwatch, starts the timer, and talks about how debates like this are used to silence candidates like him and promote establishment frontrunners.
He stops the timer at the end of his opening statement. Starts and stops in at the beginning and end of any time that he is allowed to speak after that.
At the end of his closing statement, he reveals how much time he was given to speak and asks the public whether or not they feel that these debates present a fair opportunity for all candidates to get their message to the American public.
My coach and teammates say they are allowed, but I just want to make sure. In one of my final rounds, one of the judges told me timing myself wasn't allowed and I could only use the judge's time signals. But in other rounds, judges don't seem to mind. Since the NSDA doesn't specifically address this in the rules, I'll reiterate: are extemp speakers allowed to use the stopwatch app on their phone or just a plain stopwatch in-round? (I'm in the East-Missouri circuit)
I have 1 min rest times between sets in the gym, but sometimes during those rest times i have to reply to texts or find a new song etc but i hate having to switch back between the stopwatch app/ whatever im doing.
It can replace the time in the status bar while running. If the stop watch isnt running in the app, then make sure it doesn't replace the time in the status bar once out of the stopwatch app. Only replace ones it is running.
Also ensure it doesn't cause conflictions with other tweaks such as taptime to reveal date etc. Im not bothered if those tweaks wont work during teh stopwatch tweak working, just as long as it doesn't cause issues once not in use :)
I was playing a game as Klepto Draven and I used Stopwatch on lane. Then a Zhonya's shard just dropped out right when I used it... Screenshot: https://gyazo.com/4797df394f1ea95e25720d26fcb9e1a7
I started a stopwatch while grilling out back. My phone died when I turned the flashlight on. I plugged it in, ate dinner, turned phone on and stopwatch was still ticking accurate to the total time passed including off time. Just thought it was interesting and wanted to share.
I'm making a sort of 'seasons' mod with the collaboration of /u/PeteTheLich, and I need a way to measure the number of ticks that have passed by, then use that to activate certain modifiers and tints at specific time intervals. Any ideas?

I know this probably affects like 2 other people maximum- but this bug or "feature" has returned. Why Apple??
EDIT: u/geeduhb has found the solution! Only on your watch app: settings>wake screen on the watch itself, underneath the option for returning to the last used app, there is an extra set of toggles labeled βReturn to last session appβ. A handful of apps are listed there, including Stopwatch and Timer. Toggling those off will stop that behavior! I donβt understand why that option is only on the watch and not the app, but at least it fixes it!
As a software developer and an athlete, I am looking for recommendations for any good working time controlled apps to keep track of time during my workout.
I personally don't like to use apps during my body weight routines as it's often just disturbing and pen/paper works good enough for tracking progress and numbers. If I have to use an app, the workout is not simple enough. The only time I use an app is when I want to time my work.
The default timer app on iOS works fine but I would prefer to just shout "start" and "stop" to start or stop the timer.
I would love to hear if you guys need such an app, or if there are already enough good working apps available.
Cheers!
I was thinking something along the lines of an underground room filling from the top as a result of a mudslide, or an avalanche cascading down the mountain that begins 1000 ft. from the party, or the classic trash compactor crushing the room from both sides.
Background: Ran xc/track all through high school, then ran cross-country for my college which led to coaching.
Coached a high school team for 4 seasons until real life work got in the way.
Let me know if there is anything you want or need the app to do.
It's completely free, no ads, no in-app purchases.
Name of App: " Splits Stopwatch: Multi-Athlete "

Note: My main reddit account is old-school with years of cake days, but since my full name, email address, and home phone number are on the App Listing Page, I used my burner reddit account for this post. Feel free to call or email. I would love to hear from you.
Edit: This is an intense feeling. Posting something real you've done to Reddit is no joke. I'm actively watching the comment thread. If this is embarrassing, pm and let me know.
Edit 2 (1 day later): Grateful for the amount of time used out of your schedules to work with the app. Updates and improvements are forthcoming. Parts need improvement and new functions need adding. Will keep watching this comment thread. Good health to you solo-athletes in the coming season and coaches with your team-training.
5 seconds of stasis should be enough to survive the 7 seconds, and if the enemy team runs away then your team can 5v1 the fed adc.
I like the idea of Ohmwrecker, but spending 2650g for such a niche item is quite extreme, especially since it requires team coordination to make the most of it.
So, how about a one-use mini version, similar to Stopwatch? Something you would buy for a towerdive, although it would come with the inherent risk of not making a return on your investment if you fail the dive, especially since the enemy team would see it in your inventory.
As fur away as you can get.
