A list of puns related to "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum"

Enjoy everyone! (The fun part starts around the 11 minute mark after the main titles after we were recording from Twitch)
I walked to the pet store to purchase ghost shrimp. They come in a clear bag, which I wrapped in a fleece jacket to keep them from getting stressed on the short walk home.
A lady stopped me on the street and said, βAww, new mom, you look tired. Is Baby sleeping?
Then she stood on her tippy toes to try to see Baby. I shamefully unwrapped the bag and said, βI have no excuse for looking tired; these are just ghost shrimp.β
She looked horrified, turned around, and said, βOh. Sorry your shrimps died,β as she briskly walked away.
If she is unfamiliar with the species, "ghost shrimp," it's possible that she thinks that I'm carrying around a bag of water disguised as a baby in order to transport the disembodied souls of deceased crustaceans.
This is my legacy.
During WOR: Dave made a comparison with Riho and Kairi Sane as pure simpathetic babyfaces in both aew and wwe and said that despite Kairi being better than Riho in every aspect of the game the booking of Riho in AEW has been better. Bryan Alvarez also mentioned that in his opinion Kairi Sane is the most pure babyface character ever.
This was one of my favorite subreddits when it first started because of the hilarious mishaps that happened to people while they were doing the deed. Now Iβm just seeing detailed descriptions of watching/listening to people have sex with no attempt at humor.
If the mods and community want it to become an erotica sub then thatβs everyoneβs prerogative - Iβll unsub and no harm was done. If a lot of people feel the same way I do though, then Iβd love to see the subreddit return to its roots and maybe have the overly sexual posts removed. I think thatβs all. Thanks for reading :)
I thought I would lighten up the mood a bit. I've been doing Usertesting since August and I really enjoy it.
I always make sure that I am in a very quiet area where I cannot be disturbed while I am doing the testers or the live chats. Some of these testers are also done at all times of the day even during the middle of the night. There have been instances where no matter how hard I tried, I still could not contain the noise that was coming from elsewhere.
For instance, at the beginning, I used to always forget to remove my phone from the computer room while I was doing testers because sure enough I would get a telemarketing call during that time (my bank kept calling to sell me products). I learned to put the phone far away from my computer room which has a door that I can close because it was happening so often. It even happened in the middle of a Live Conversation on Zoom but I apologized and the client did not hold it against me.
Another thing I have to do when I suddenly qualify for a tester is to shoo my cats out of the computer room. I have four cats and thankfully Usertesting has a timer before you can start recording because I have to do a quick look around and remove the cats from this location very quickly and they are not too pleased with me (they hang on real tight to this really comfy chair with their claws).
A few weeks ago, I had just removed one of my cats from this very particular chair where he was sleeping soundly. It was in the middle of the night and I had just qualified for a tester. My male cat who hardly even moews (the other ones do) decided to start clawing really loudly at my door and meowing like his life depended on it. I was just in the middle of this tester so I had to apologize and tell them that I had to let the cat in the room because he took that one and only time to "express" himself loudly at that particular moment. I was so worried that they would hold it against me but they didn't.
Also had people knock really loudly at my door and the neighbour decide that 9PM is the right time to start running his chainsaw while I was doing a tester. I did mention it to the client while I was doing the tester and moved on. None of these things were held against me. Just for fun, I am just wondering if you could share any times when you were doing a tester or a live conversation and had ackward/funny/annoying things happen to you. How did you handle it and did the client hold it against you.
Boy, was my face red!
I'm a long-haul trucker, and I subscribe to a lot of NFL-related podcasts. And of course, being a Saints fan, I subscribed to a bunch of Saints podcasts. I'd listen to 'em to pass the time while driving.
Since I was subscribed, I would get little notifications whenever one of 'em uploaded a new podcast. New episodes from Locked on Saints, Saints Talk, Who Dat Confessional, and so on. Every day I'd get at least one notification that one of my podcasts had updated.
And then the Robbery happened.
And like a lot of you folks, I just said "Fuck it" with respect to ANYTHING football related. Didn't care about the Super Bowl, DEFINITELY didn't care about all the hype leading up to it. I kept an ear to the ground for a few days afterwards to bathe in the outrage, but after a while even that didn't interest me. And I stopped reading or listening to ANY NFL-related content about a week after the NFCCG. This is, in fact, the first time I've been back to this sub since then. I was just disgusted. There's really no other way to put it.
The funny thing, though, is that I immediately stopped receiving notifications about all my podcasts.
I didn't unsubscribe to any of them, right? Didn't log in and change any notification settings. Those podcasts are still being made, new episodes are still being uploaded, and I'm still subscribed to all of them with the same notification settings I had before.
But apparently Google realized I wasn't in the mood for the NFL's bullshit, and just...stopped telling me about the new episodes. It's been, what, two months now? Not a single notification since the NFCCG.
Wonder if I'll start getting new notifications now that I've posted here and shown a renewed interest in the NFL...
Rather than call it quits. I believe there is someone smart enough over there at Valve to make it work, if not let me know, I will help.
