So my son is 4 now, he'll be 5 in a month. A while back he discovered the Pokemon movie (the good one) on Netflix, and then I've gradually introduced him to the games and he's become obsessed (as you do). Up until now I've just played the game while he watches, letting him give me directions and ask me to read the Pokedex entry of everything we catch, but this week on a whim I decided to let him try playing (Let's Go Pikachu) himself.
He's never played anything with a controller before, I handed him a joycon and told him to move the stick to move around and press A to do stuff. I figured he might wander around in the grass for a while, maybe swing the joycon just right to catch one or two Pokemon.
The kid beat Brock and got all the way to the fossils in Mt. Moon - he might have gotten further but he only had one Pokemon left standing after all that battling, so he couldn't start the double battle with Team Rocket.
The first time I played Pokemon I was twice his age and got lost in Viridian Forest, let alone beating a whole gym leader.
So today he decided he wanted to play Mario - first Odyssey and then Mario Maker. He still struggles a bit with that (moving and jumping at the same time is tough) but I think he's well on his way to figuring that out too and finding the joy I felt as a young gamer playing Super Mario, except in 4K.
I couldn't be more proud... even knowing those nice new Purple/Orange joycons are gonna be thrashed by this time next year.
I'm trying to alter files from the internet and I keep running into the same snag. Inventor considers every file type I've used so far a mesh, except ipt. Do any file types come up as solids?
In the two weeks leading up to my period, itโs hard to shower and brush my teeth. My impulsivity is worse - I buy things I donโt need. I say things I donโt mean. I spend hours on tik tok. I mindlessly pick at my face. My ruminating thoughts consume me - I canโt go a single minute without thinking about a bad memory.
Then, the day after my period, itโs almost like I donโt have adhd. I can do simple tasks without hesitation. I can focus on the present and do healthy things for myself. I feel more connected to the people in my life and can focus during conversations and while reading and watching movies. I exercise and eat right. I can maintain a regular sleep schedule. I feel good about myself and the future and I donโt think about the past.
I keep saying no to medication because of the two great weeks I have after my period, but I think I need help in the two weeks before. I canโt keep spending half of my life like this.

So many different L2 projects such as Polygon (Matic), among others, actually help make the Blockchain more usable and complete it, solving it's scalability challenges and are not competing against Ethereum.
I do believe that Ethereum won't go anywhere since this giant ecosystem is based on this amazing product (80% of my portfolio is ETH), but I think we need to let other L2 solutions their place without thinking they should compete against Ethereum.
Say a person wants to read Nietzsche but they are looking for the reasons that Nietzsche wrote the way he did. Say that they're looking for things like this - the period in which he lived, the persons he spoke with and mentions in his writing, what he would have heard about and thought of in the course of his work - and that's how they decide to read him.
Say, on the other hand, a person wants to read Nietzsche and they find some part of themselves that they want to take away. That they're not reading about his Germanness or the historical time period he lived in; but, rather, they've found a copy of Nietzsche's Zarathustra in a bookstore, and they become intrigued by some entanglement of thought which they identify with in the work which is more relatable to their lives and their lifestyle.
Do these styles of interpretation have a name? Is there notably some sort of tension over some critical interpretative possession as regards the author's work - like, do people argue over these kinds of interpretation, ask which one is more correct, etc.?
Ever since I noticed it, I canโt un-notice it. And this was pre Dylan Barbour saying they should expose/cancel the Bachelor. But production is making this show a completely different reality show.
I have never seen a season where half of the two hours had nothing to do with Matt and all to do with drama between the girls. I can play devils advocate and say โwell itโs Covid so they canโt travel and are replacing that with drama to retain viewersโ but Iโm watching now out of sheer shock of how much production is manipulating everything!
I have no proof other than reading between the lines and making educated guesses but to me: I think that production decides to an extent who gets time. This is why the girls are going crazy (even if they wouldnโt necessarily be how they are seeming on the show) because they realize they arenโt getting a fair chance! Production purposely added new girls to piss the old girls off and knowingly knew (lolll too lazy to change wording) the exhaustion they had and that was another slap in the face. And they lowkey screwed the new girls up bc they painted a huge target on their back!
I fully believe production manipulates girls by helping spread rumors, dropping โhintsโ of what other girls have talked about, making the girls trust them so they open up but rly they know itโs just good TV!!
All this to say, I enjoy watching the show fully under the lens of โproduction vs castโโ seriously try it next week!!! You will wonder how much the girls are saying and whatโs cut out (I.e. them saying โI canโt believe this is happeningโ or โI am so frustratedโ is cut to seem they are crazy about Matt specifically but I truly think itโs directed to production/the process)
