A list of puns related to "33β "

The only ska album that has been written about so far is 'One Step Beyond'--there's not even any rocksteady/reggae, far as I can tell--so anything else is fair game.
I own very few 45 RPM singles, but the ones that I do own, don't sound nearly as good as the same song on a 33β RPM album.
Back in 1988, I bought the 45 RPM single to Come Sail Away by Styx brand new. I liked the song so much that I went and bought the album The Grand Illusion the next day, also brand new.
Come Sail Away is the last song on Side 1 of the album, and it sounds much better than the 45 RPM single. Not in terms of surface noise, just in terms of overall clarity and lack of distortion. Of the 4 45 RPM singles that I own (all bought new), the version on the full album always sounds better.
Is this typical for 45 RPM singles, or is it a product of the time period I bought them?
And yes, the 45s are vinyl and not styrene.

Got another batch of RSD Critter scales for you fine folks since they were so popular before. Decided to try different colour combinations this time, so let's see how it goes. All scales are C rated for ano, but brand new from the manufacturer. SMKW scales come in cool little hardcased with microfibre cloths.
All the below scales are Rockscale Design, all are internally milled (super light), and are flat slabs with no contouring. They're only drilled for right-side carry, sorry lefties. These are $126 new in plain Ti. Screw that, buy mine for a few bucks more.
Bugout Set 1: Rose Gold $140 SOLD
Bugout Set 2: Blue/Gold $140 SOLD
Bugout Set 3: Gold/Green $140 SOLD
Bugout Set 4: Gold/Blue $140 SOLD
Mini Bugout Set 1: Gold/Green $140 SOLD
Mini Bugout Set 2: Blue/Gold $140 SOLD
Also have one set of SMKW scales left over. These are hand-satin finished and blurple anodized. SMKW scales are contoured, ambi drilled, but not weight relieved with internal milling. They're also a lot cheaper.
Hey, yβall.
So 2018βs really felt like a watershed year for electronic music (whatever that means anymore), and it just keeps getting better. Iβve been doing a lot of that digging in the past few months, and I wanted to share a selection of that with you. These arenβt βfavorites,β exactly; I donβt love all of them (although I think most are at least very good). Think of them, instead, as things worth talking about, music that brings a new idea to the conversation, whether that be in sheer physicality, brilliant drum programming, clever use of negative space, or just about anything else. Iβve included a writeup on each record - the only problem there is that I found a lot of things worth writing about. This may give the β33β β another meaning - think of a novel about a six-month period rather than a record and youβre on the right path.
No ranking, because I think #33 is as worth talking about as #1. Just alphabetical. TL;DR included at the bottom. Feel free to ask me whatever - Iβd love to have a conversation about this stuff.
Anyways - thatβs the β rd. Hereβs thirty-three electronic records and D.J. mixes that have thrilled, captivated, stunned, and flabbergasted me this year.
A.A.L. (Against All Logic) - 2012-2017 [Deep House]
In a release reminiscent of his live show, Chilean-American wunderkind Nicolas Jaar released his most straightforward record since 2010βs Edits LP. Intentionally left rough around the edges, 2012-2017 feels like a pile of sun-warped vinyl cut just so, with fussed-over, no-nonsense beats forming the foundation to a monument to house and disco alike.
Actress x London Contemporary Orchestra - LAGEOS [Electroacoustic]
An elaboration upon and exploration of Darren J. Cunninghamβs collaboration with the London Contemporary Orchestra on 2017βs AZD (βFAURE IN CHROMEβ), LAGEOS is simultaneously bewildering and engrossing in the way that recalls his best material under the alias. It serves as a glimpse into what Actressβ future may look like as well as a reinterpretation of its past (βVoodoo Posse, Chronic Illusion,β transformed here, first appeared on 2013βs excellent Silver Cloud EP). Glitchy, fuzzed-out beats and decaying violins engage in a deliberate but entirely foreign dance, and the earth cracks open underneath them.
Alva Noto - Unieqav [Minimal Techno, Glitch]
Unieqav, the conclusion of a trilogy that started ten years ago, has the exact aesthetic commitment implied by such an undertakin
... keep reading on reddit β‘I was doing laundry today and was short one quarter and I thought that it would be nice if my three quarters could be worth four quarters just for today. We could call it thirdsday.
How did record companies arrive to those very different speeds? Were there others less standard than those?
(I didnβt call them βvinylβ outright, because the first records were made out of shellac).

Frank Drebin (Leslie Nielsen) is back! But retired... He's living a peaceful life with his now-wife Jane (Priscilla Presley). But when his old partner Ed (George Kennedy) comes to ask for his help, he immediately jumps on the chance to shoot someone again. This one sends Frank to prison to go undercover.
This is the first Naked Gun I truly enjoyed watching. The subtle jokes were handled quite well, the plot was better, and they didn't have to worry about introducing too many characters. In my opinion, the best of the series, if you liked the others, you'll probably like this one. If you didn't like the others, you may or may not like this one...

Do your worst!
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
It really does, I swear!
Theyβre on standbi
