Jets fans and Johnsons. Miami tried to warn you about this hire. Yet, Woody and co. like the smell of poverty and pissing off their fanbase that they only saw him with Peyton Manning and the "good" he did with the Dolphins in his first year with them. Let's be honest. The 2016 Dolphins year was a massive mirage. When you actually look at their schedule, it's a relatively light clusterfuck. When comparing the teams they battled against, one thing struck me about their record: It was weak. They literally had 9 wins against opponents who were below .500, and 4 of them were against the other two teams they played in their division that year (Bills, who were shuffling QBs at 7-9 [.438] and against the kings of misery in the Jets at 5-11 [.313]. All of the other victories were against mediocrity and absolute crap: Browns (1-16), Chargers (5-11), Rams (4-12), 49ers (2-14), Cardinals (7-8-1). They had only one win against a .500 and above team, and that was the Steelers (11-5, unsurprising, since they do this all the time). Their other losses were against teams at or above .500, one of which who lives in their division. Patriots twice (14-2), Seahawks (10-5-1), Ravens (8-8), Titans (9-7). Their other loss was against a below .500 team in the Bengals (6-9-1).
It seems good an all looking at how they're in playoffs, but let's be honest. Adam Gase benefited from a lackadaisical schedule that year. When the Steelers came and avenged their loss in the playoffs, you think the Dolphin could have gotten better from it... Nope. The year later, the Dolphins had some injuries, and regression, and also their schedule was harder in 2017. The players had starting losing confidence and Gase and after 2018, it was hasta la vista. I constantly see fans defending this man for that one good year Gase had in 2016. He benefited from a previous regime and had one of the softest schedules in the league that year. The Dolphins did have some good players, but the wrong man leading the charge. That was sadly a fluke year for Dolphins fans, but the Johnsons sadly didn't care. They hired him.

Whichever mod went on a power trip and permanently banned me, that's some weak energy. I really hope you can break out of your isolation and really get to know people who aren't like yourself. To the rest of the mods, I hope you don't condone their decisions. I know your task here isn't easy, but that doesn't give the right to act with impunity. The audacity to not only respond to my dispute with bare minimum effort, but to mute me from contacting anyone else for a month deserves some consequences in and of itself.

Hello my fellow NFL Fans. We're over half way done with this series, and now we get to talk about one of the focal points of this off-season, the Miami Dolphins. Due to their loaded capital, they were a hot bed of discussion for every disgruntled veteran, and the joy of every mock drafter, as their potential to execute moves was limitless.
Now, if we want to talk about the 2020 season, it was a great year in terms of performance vs. expectations, but it ended on a sour note. Once emotions cooled down, everyone recognized the Dolphins were in a position to be successful. A right move or a wrong move could determine the future of our franchise. Now, it's time to see what moves were made and what we hope they did.
