Hello, does anyone of the game reviewers know If their is o yoroi armor in the game? Because it’s my favorite type of armor and I would be glad if you could wear it while fighting Mongols as samurai!

Thanks to this post we now know that Infinite will have 88 different store bundles in the first season. It's bad enough that a lot of stuff like having Carters or Emiles shoulderarmor as a standalone item or classic reach helmets like Gungnir or CQC aer only unlockable for money.

Remember that cool looking Yoroi armor in the trailer they told us would be free? No, we just get the base armor for free with very few items and coatings in the event pass. Even Red and Blue colors for Yoroi are only available through the shop!

But lets just see how money you would actually have to spend to unlock everything for completionists.

I tried to guess in what price region with items would be based on what we saw in the last week, so some items could be cheaper or more expansive in the end

21 $5 Items = $105

43 $10 Items = $430

16 $15 Bundles = $240

13 §20 Sets = $260

$105 + $430 + $240 + $260 = $1,035 for Cosmetics. This is as greedy as ingame store could get. Even for a Free2Play this is way above any Halo fan should accept. Especially since there is no chance to unlock any of this by just playing the game and we won't even unlock a single armor through the $69 campaign.

Update. Wow, this blew up. Thank you for all the upvotes. Nobody here says it should be possible to buy literally everthing and of course an ingame shop in a free2play game doesn't force you buy anything. But here are a few point why this is outragerous to a lot of fans:

• It directly contradicts everything 343i said before release. In the disappeared Dec 2020 update 343i stated things like how they don't want progression to be a grind-machine that burns people out, being player first, giving everyone fair customization, etc.
• Other Free2Play titles mentioned like LoL, Vanguard

Changes to Tenrai and Event Passes

The first Halo Infinite event, Fractures: Tenrai, has begun (or will be shortly!). We're throwing up this megathread to try and contain most of the talk to a single place.

How does it work?

Fractures: Tenrai is Halo Infinite's first event in which plays can progress a free 30 Tier track to unlock some cool cosmetics including armor, an armour core, emblems, XP grants and challenge swaps.

Players will need to complete the specially marked weekly challenges in order to progress the Fractures: Tenrai pass. One specially marked challenge results in one tier being completed.

Players can NOT spend money to skip tiers in this event, but they can use Challenge Swaps on the specially marked weekly challenges.

Fiesta is the focus of this event, so hop into Fiesta and complete the specially marked challenges to begin progressing the event pass.

When does it start?

Fractures: Tenrai begins today, November 23 and will run until November 29th. After that, it'll return multiple times throughout the season. The current known dates are as follows:

• Week 1: November 23 - November 29, 2021
• Week 2: January 4 - January 10, 2022
• Week 3: February 1 - February 7, 2022
• Week 4: February 22 - March 1, 2022
• Week 5: March 19 - April 5, 2022
• Week 6: April 19 - April 26, 2022

The event will be featured SIX times throughout Season 1.

What do I unlock?

You'll be able to progress through 30 tiers of unlocks during the Fractures: Tenrai event. Those are as follows:

Halo Infinite multiplayer has been out for over a month, and after multiple online seeding tournaments it's time for the first Infinite LAN Major! $100k for the winners and $250k total is up for grabs this weekend in Raleigh, NC!

(Several people have pointed out that the title is misleading, and I agree that it's an exaggeration on my part. A more accurate title would be: "Halo Infinite's monetization is pushing the bar even lower")

 

I say this because there seems to be a lot of confusion outside of this space as to what's going on. So I wanted to make something that summarizes just how bad this is, and do so in a way that can make sense to people who aren't aware of what’s happening, or aren't well versed with Halo.

If you are a youtuber, article writer, or just trying to convince a friend, feel free to use this post as a script. No credit needed.

- Public consensus

The general public consensus I tend to see is that the progression is the only real problem, and that Halo fans are just making a big fuss for almost no reason. It’s the same as other Free To Play games, right? Just fix the progression and it's all good, right?

Unfortunately, no. Even compared to other games like Fortnite or Apex Legends, Halo Infinite is more greedy and anti-consumer in many ways. And the core gameplay being genuinely stellar does not excuse the greed on display here. We won’t even need to talk about Halo Infinite vs previous Halo titles to showcase this.

Let's dive into the examples.

- Challenges and Challenge Swaps

As I’m sure most are aware, challenges are the only way to progress through the paid battle pass (as well as free event passes). Sometimes you’ll get very specific challenges you have to go out of your way to complete. This is annoying, but they conveniently sell you challenge swaps as a solution to the problem they created. Challenge swaps can be unlocked through the paid battle pass and free event passes, or bought 2 for $2. You can also buy and unlock exp-boosts to level up faster. Or, if you happen to feel frustrated by not leveling up as fast as you’d like, you can buy battle pass tiers directly for $2 per tier. This totals around $200 to get everything, if you want to pay.

+Safest bet in cryptoverse and only 21 million of BTC will ever exist. A lot of that BTC has been lost forever and as such illiquid.

+It's a synonymous with the word crypto and digital gold for a good reason. It's considered one if not the best store of value to hedge ever increasing inflation!

-Movement is sometimes slower than altcoins.

-Transactions are slow and can get pricey even though Lightning network updated is trying to fix the scalability issues at the cost of

-Smaller potential for high returns

I do believe hard work is a theme of Naruto, but it’s not “hard work vs talent”, that was never the theme. People constantly cite Rock Lee vs Gaara fight or Naruto vs Neji fight or Naruto vs Sasuke rivalry to prove this, but the problem is, saying those fights are about “hard work vs talent” would imply that Sasuke and Neji weren’t hard workers or that Lee isn’t a genius, which is not true at all. Sasuke works very hard, specially in the Chunnin exam arc, he also worked hard under Orochimaru. Neji worked hard as well, he didn’t reinvent 8 trigrams technique just because of his talent, and finally, Rock Lee is a taijutsu genius, it is literally said as early as Chunnin exam. I don’t think even Gai could open gates at that age, Lee opened upto 5th gate, he has a natural affinity for taijutsu(also, I had one guy saying to me how Naruto getting Jiraya as a teacher was a “privilege” of him while people like Lee didn’t have these sorts of privileges, are you forgetting Gai? The literal greatest taijutsu master in Narutoverse?). Now, these talents doesn’t undermine their hard work at all, that’s why, even after all that, they carry the hard work theme.

Also, Naruto vs Sasuke was never about “hard work vs talent”, look back on the first instance their rivalry actually took place, back in Land of waves arc, where they learn tree climbing. Sure, Sasuke is a genius, but he couldn’t figure out tree climbing instantly, him and Naruto both spent entire nights and days side by side competing and working relentlessly until they master it. If it was “hard work vs talent”, Sasuke would’ve mastered it moments after Kakashi showing them and Naruto would’ve been left alone trying to figure it out, but that wasn’t the case. Also, implying Naruto and Sasuke’s rivalry as “hard work vs talent” also implies that Naruto himself isn’t a genius, which is not true at all. Him being an eternal loser was thanks to Kurama, thanks to Kurama that his chakra control was botched. Otherwise, while Naruto did work very, very hard, simply cause of this handicap, him being able to master multi shadow clone technique, mastering sage mode so fast clearly indicates that Naruto is talented to an extent as well.

Edit: Just thought of another thing, while it is true that Sasuke is a genius prodigy and needs to work less hard then say people like Naruto, but he definitely works hard as well. People cite the Chunnin exam and in my opinion, Chunnin exam arc is actually the best indicator of Sasuke’s tal
