A list of puns related to "Zero Point Zero Production"
So a couple of months ago I discovered Beyond all Reason and Zero-K - and being a huge fan of TA + Supreme Commander from the early days absolutely loved the updating of concepts and creativity that went into these projects. Still have FAF obviously and top kudos for those enthusiasts as well.
Question is what other little known amazing playable fan projects are in production that people know about of this kind of quality.
I gladly contributed some cash to BAR because I was blown away at the content and excellence they've achieved there.
I'm an avid outdoorsman, writer, and television personality known for translating the hunting lifestyle to a wide variety of audiences. I've written 3 books: The Scavenger's Guide to Haute Cuisine, the award-winning American Buffalo: In Search of a Lost Icon, and most recently, Meat Eater: Adventures from the Life of an American Hunter.
I am currently the host of MeatEater, a weekly half-hour series on The Sportsman Channel, produced by Zero Point Zero (the same production company behind the Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations series). Tim Ferriss (who's also no stranger to reddit AMAs) will be making a guest appearance on the MeatEater season premiere, which you can catch on Sunday January 6th at 9PM E/P. VIDEO Preview: here
As a hunter, one question that comes up all the time is: how can I justify the killing of animals for food? My reply varies according to the circumstances, particularly to whether or not the person is actually willing to hear my response. Recently, I was posed this question and this video that captured my answer made the rounds online: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2N0Utg7KYE
I'll do my best to answer as many questions on here as I can. Ask me anything.

Strangely, my aluminum production dropped to zero. I'm at the late stages of an ascension, with 33 Metal Refineries, and nearly 30 Quarry Workers and plenty of surplus power. But, to my surprise, Aluminum is generating at 0/sec. I'm trying to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it. I've never had Aluminum drop to zero unexpectedly before. Is this a bug? Or have I accidentally done something obscure to stop Aluminum production?
Dear Commanders,
A production rate-up event for the following T-Dolls will be held from Dec. 11th to Dec. 12th 23: 59 (UTC-8)! During the event, the pull rates for Rex Zero 1, VSK-94, and S-ACR will be increased!

In 2020 , silver institute reports 784Mio oz were mined. Almost 6% less than in 2019. At current production rate, as there is 16Bn oz underground, it could run out in exactly 20 years. But we know that in reality mines will just diminish production each year, so deposits will last longer. Lets see what will happen if production will fall by 2% each year?
Year | Annual Production (Mio oz) |
---|---|
2021 | 768 |
2022 | 753 |
2023 | 738 |
2025 | 708 |
2030 | 640 |
2040 | 523 |
2046...... | Aaaand its gone - no more silver! All 16B oz mined |
This means, with just 2% production reduction a year, we have 5 years extra. We must cut mining faster! How about 4% a year?
Year | Production (Mio oz) |
---|---|
2021 | 752 |
2022 | 722 |
2023 | 693 |
2024 | 665 |
2025 | 639 |
2030 | 521 |
2040 | 346 |
2050 | 230 |
2060 | 153 |
2066...... | Aaaand its gone |
Pretty soon in 2025, production may be only 640Mio oz or almost 150Mio oz LESS than now.
Ok, so how much can scrap supply rise? Today its about 170M oz /year. In 1980 scrap supply peaked at 302M oz, but the price was about $40. https://www.silverinstitute.org/silverprice/1979-1980/
Lets see how much price would have to be today to attract that much scrap/recycling.. Since 1980 inflation measured by USA home prices lifted prices by exactly 6X. Fourty dollars for 1 ounce in 1980 is the same as $240/oz would be today. In 5 years from now home prices can easily rise another 2X, as recently they go up by some 15% p.a.
So i estimate to reach 300Mio oz scrap supply in 2025, price would have to be around $480 per oz.
Silver supply will MORE and MORE depend on recycling. In 2050, production can fall to just 230Mio oz, this means the world would HAVE TO recycle at least 700Mio oz / year.
Ok peeps! I just had a chat with a film colleague and my Fatal Fame fan film is now a green light! This project has been in the works for almost TEN YEARS! And now its FINALLY coming to its conclusion! I'm gonna need to rase about $500 for pre production and miniatures/props I still need. I live in a snowy & touristy part of Ontario - I pull a lot of folks out of ditches.
The amount of vehicles that I come across that either have nothing to attach a tow strap to, or only have an attachment in the front, or only one in the rear is astounding.
Do they think their vehicles can only get stuck in one particular orientation? Are they being designed to never leave a suburb? What the heck is going on?
Just yesterday, a 2018(?) RAM 1500: a big ol' 4x4, locking diffs, clearly designed to do truck shit. Absolutely nothing to hook on to in the front. What?
I've had to resort to strapping to folk's lower control arms multiple times. Like good luck, hope we didn't just screw up your alignment or bend anything Β―_(γ)_/Β―.
Why is this so normal?
