A list of puns related to "Yu Gi Oh!"
The ONLY way to play Wingspan is to dramatically announce the bird you are playing plus the mouth the cry of the bird, and have a rule where everyone at the table reacts like you just played Blue Eyes White Dragon.
Me: heh heh heh, you FOOLS!!! I summon...THE RUBY THROATED HUMMING BIRD!
Card: CAWWWWWW!!! π¦
Opponents: GASP! B-b-b-but...THATS IMPOSSIBLE!
let's not talk about nostalgia and the manga or the anime let's talk about why exactly are you playing Yu-Gi-Oh competitively for me it's the complicated the game gets I'll play it especially Yu-Gi-Oh it's not mtg and pokemon and other simple card games that are literally the same all of them with those mana points thing but in Yu-Gi-Oh the game more challenging to your mind because there's always a way to win if u played the right combo and see the best way to get out of a hopeless situation.
I brought my friends to my locals. They haven't played in a couple years and were reminiscing how awesome Dragon Ruler Tier 0 format was. The main reason they enjoyed that format was because when they went to locals about 90% of players would all play Dragon Rulers, meanwhile they were the odd weird guys who would bring a strange deck different from everyone else.
So when they returned to Yu-Gi-Oh and joined my locals. They played against a variety of decks. Pretty much nearly everyone in my locals is playing something different from one another with HERO, Zoodiac, Striker, Eldlich, VW, Thunder Dragons, Pendulums, Gren Maju, Flundereeze, Dino, Drytron, Prank Kids, Zombie, Shaddolls...etc; After awhile my buddies told me that they felt uncomfortable playing because it doesn't feel like that their decks aren't that special or weird anymore due to everyone playing different.
What am I supposed to do?
At the tiem i was 11. My mom never let me buy cards so me and a girl stoel from another class mate. He knew that we stoel it but he had no proof.
Me and the girl split the cards and i still have them. I want to give him the cards back but i dont know where he lives.
(Sorry for my bad Englisch its not my first language)
Rarity bumping cards that are essential for deck consistency (Prosperity,) or are required to not instantly lose to meta decks (Evenly Matched, Lightning Storm and Forbidden Droplet) creates an environment where most players have to resort to budget alternatives which results in them getting absolutely blown out by things that would be breakable if only they had the latest $200 chase secret rare.
By this logic, Yu-Gi-Oh is not a game where you pay to win, as even budget decks can assemble formidable board states, it's a game where you pay to not lose, something I honestly believe is far more frustrating, as someone who doesn't have $700+ to spend on a playset of Prosperity, Droplet and Evenly Matched, the game is practically unplayable for me, as most budget options are nowhere near adequate to break boards.
I have no idea why the TCG insists on doing this repeatedly, rarity bumps do nothing but erode consumer confidence and constantly having a $200 chase card that is all but required is unhealthy. For the vast majority of players these cards are practically almost inaccessible, and Konami actively fuels an awful secondary market by continuing to do this.
I'd like to be able to play in person but I'm effectively priced out of the game, I simply cannot afford to drop that much money on cards that without I am pretty much playing with one hand tied behind my back.
I don't see the problem with rarity bumping certain cards, but core generic staple cards being rarity bumped just makes the game way too expensive.

If you wanna summon someone rich/influential, like Bill Gates or Obama, you'll have to sacrifice other not so famous people you have already summoned, like your mailman for example.
