A list of puns related to "Yonsei University"
Looking for people who took a short-term Korean language course at Yonsei university to share their experiences. How was it for you? Would you recommend it? Iβm considering taking it up but wanted some feedback first

Hey there,
I'll be going on exchange to Yonsei University for the winter term, and I was looking to see if anyone else from York who would be going to Yonsei or another school in Seoul would be willing to look for a place together since there are cheaper options that way. Feel free to contact me on instagram if you'd be interested: shxrma_
Thanks!
I'll applying for the fall semester in 2022 and I am so scared that I'll get in or not.
A dance team, DNCE (λ μΈ), has done some 'battle' dance covers where students from yonsei and korea university split into groups based on school and wear their university colors in the outfits. In this format they've done songs like Tiger Inside, Next Level, Not Shy, and Kill This Love.
For their most recent dance cover, they did something different - the two main dancers of the idol group danced with them! The students practiced for about a month, then for one day the students went to the company's building and the main dancers each took a university to personally direct choreography, going over the moves with them and helping to point out details and improve synchronization. Later, they filmed the official dance cover, and also released a behind the scenes practice video!
As a concept I think this is really cool: getting to not just meet the idols of the song you are covering but to learn from them directly AND film a dance cover with them. on top of that, you learn from the idols in the space where they practice. I think it's a great opportunity for the idols, too. They get to teach the choreography to a group aside from their own members. especially for main dancers of a group, I imagine it would feel so rewarding to pass on tips and suggestions for details to other dancers. Furthermore, after interacting with the idols, the students will have stories and thoughts to share with the rest of the dance team and friends that dance, bringing a new personal connection to the artists.
A summary of the behind the scenes video: the main dancers do rock paper scissors to see which group will get to practice in the main practice room (the one where the idols film their official dance practices). the other group goes to practice in the room where the idols practiced as trainees (seen in pre-debut vlogs) , though the room has been converted to a workout room. then, each of the main dancers are shown teaching/guiding the students in practicing. The idols are asked some questions interview-style and one student from each of the groups is asked about the experience. The video shows the full dance practice of both groups together, and then it ends with a cheer from each of them.

... keep reading on reddit β‘Hello everyone! I'm looking to study at Yonsei University the summer after my second year of college through their six-week program with three courses. Is it guaranteed acceptance?
I heard of ISEP and CIEE and the direct application through the official site on Yonsei. However, I don't go to a university associated with Yonsei. I'm wondering what the best study abroad program to go with is or if I should just apply to the Yonsei site?
Iβve been hearing of a course to learn Korean for beginners online called βFirst Step Koreanβ. How good is it?
Iβm about to finish TTMIKβs βMy First 500 Korean Wordsβ and I want to know about how much vocabulary and sentences Iβll learn from that course compared to the vocabulary and sentences I learned already from the βMy First 500 Korean Wordsβ book? Will there be a lot more words and sentences than βMy First 500 Korean Wordsβ, around the same amount etc?
By the way I donβt know anything about βFirst Step Koreanβ or how it works, so if you can maybe also explain how it works that would be great.
hi! i am studying abroad at yonsei university in the fall of 2021 and i wanted to see if anyone else is going so that i can meet new people! i would love to connect on social media and meet more people! feel free to drop your social media @ or send me a message and letβs get to know each other!!
Hi! I was highly considering applying for the research internship at Yonsei International Summer school in the future and was wondering if anyone had any experiences with it? Any information would be great!
I am a junior high school student and I am going to apply for yonsei university soon and I am not quite sure about the requirements . Do yonsei university need SAT ?. Do yonsei only accept high gpa students ?. And should I learn basic korean till level 4-5 ? Hope to get a valid answer .
Hey everyone! I'm not sure how many of y'all can answer this cause I've found absolutely no luck so far in getting an answer to my question but here goes lol. Can I get into Yonsei if I don't meet the required gpa for MBA but have a high GRE(335) and IELTS(7.5) score and also a level 2 TOPIK score with a year of work experience in a relevant field and with a few internships under my belt? Any and all answers are highly appreciated, thank you so much.
Hi! I'm sorry to bother everyone, but even after reading plenty of reviews, I can't seem to pick one option.
I read Yonsei's program is considered by many to be extremely boring due to its rigid and grammar-focused course, while Sogang is supposed to be more "entertaining", especially for beginners, since their priority is speaking. I'm very interested in Sogang, but I'm afraid it wouldn't help me reach the level required to attend (or simply understand) uni. Could anyone give me their opinion on this?Β I also took into consideration Ewha, which seems to be right in the middle, but most people recommend Sogang and Yonsei more, so I'm very very unsure.
And speaking of Yonsei / Sogang, which option do you think offers more overall? (Taking into account insurance, scholarships or anything else that could be super useful).
Hey folks, I am trying to apply for the Summer Special Program and am hoping to travel to South Korea even though the classes will be online, I am wanting to get the "full experience" of learning Korean and was wondering if anyone was going to apply and if anyone was going to be travelling to South Korea? I am from Canada and it would be my first time in South Korea.
Hi! I currently have only been studying Korean for about half a month by using the howtostudyKorean website and I just recently bought TTMIK textbooks and workbooks levels 1-5 and I also want to take the First Step Korean class offered by Yonsei University. Any one that has experience with this course, would you recommend it? Are there due dates? And what was your overall experience using this course? Any other resource recommendations are also helpful. Thank you!
Iβve been highly interested in going into yonsei university since the start of this year. I originally wanted to go to Italy (psychology, sociology, liberal arts) but Iβve been going back in for the between the two & I see myself more at yonsei university & being a student there than anywhere else.
Is there anything that I need to know before making my decision & submitting my application? Iβm also curious if anyone in this group is thinking of going to SK for university/ college.
Has anyone studied abroad at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea? Iβm considering going as an Electrical Engineering major and I was wondering if anyone has any advice! Thank you!!
Hello everyone! My name is Nylah and I am looking for 2-3 girls who would like to rent an Airbnb out together between June 26/27- Aug 8/10 for the YISS program at Yonsei this summer.
I am looking at places around the campus that would give each girl their own room and includes many common household amenities (washer, kitchen, internet, etc). Please feel free to message me if anyone is interested. Thank you!

I have recently talked to my Econ advisor about taking Econ 134A in Korea when I study abroad in the fall. The only issue I have is that during my time there, I will not have taken Econ 100B which is a prerequisite for Econ 134A at UCSB. My advisor has told me that I would be able to take this class despite not having the prerequisites required for UCSB's class. I was wondering if anyone on here has had experience taking this course equivalent of Econ 134A in at Yonsei University and could provide some insight on their experience.
Moreover, if you can't, I'd like to hear more about your experiences taking upper-division economics classes at Yonsei! Were they hard? How would they compare to the difficulty of classes taken at UCSB?
Thank you!
