Yo Yogi! Puns

Namaste yogis 🙏🏼 I'm 22 yo and I've been doing yoga for 9 months now. I've never tried doing headstand and other difficult yoga poses but I really like to try. Do you guys think it would be possible or I should've started at a younger age? If yes, any advice?

The product:

2. What motivated me, I spent years in Korea and we had those buttons everywhere. Korean BBQ, Outback Steak House, 5 star Italian restaurants, Seafood, etc it was brilliant waiters only came to my table when I needed them. When I moved to the states I found myself frustrated because wait staff would either pester me to bit about if I needed anything extra cause they where concerned about getting a tip OR wouldn't be there when I needed them.

3. I've been working out the idea now for about 2 months now, In that time I've also talked to about 9 restaurant owners. 4 of said they would be very interested in bringing in a sample, 3 said they thought it would make their wait staff lazy and would never consider it. 2 of them I think where too intoxicated to properly understand the pitch.

4. Plans:

• Within 6 months get a sample kit, and sell my first client or three!
• Within 1 year bring on a dedicated installer/service tech. Part of my business model also includes a service contract
• Within 3 years have created a company that virbant and producing enough revenue to quit my job and run it full time.

Now I have questions:

What about import duties and customs? I've been trying to put together a price model that works for me. For those of you who have imported products what countries like Thailand/China/Vietnam/etc what lessons have you learned?

Also how hell do I price my stuff? I don't want to price myself out of the market at the same time I want to maintain healthy margins.

With the current price model I have a 30 seat restaurant would cost me about $700~ in product/with $150 reserved for customs/import duties/shipping. With a installed price to the customer of $1,200 that is a margin of

Is that enough margin? Or do you think maybe charging more $1,500~$2,000 for a 30 seat install would be appropriate.

"Yo Yogi!" is an American animated series. It first aired in 1991 on NBC on Saturday morning. To date, it is the last television series to feature (or star) Yogi Bear.

Yo Yogi! featured episodes, or parts of episodes, in 3D, with Kellogg's Rice Krispies offering 3D glasses. Generally, the 3D scenes were chase scenes of the variety made famous by Hanna-Barbera in the Scooby-Doo series. At the beginning of these 3D sequences, Yogi would spin his hat atop his head, as a cue to viewers to don their 3D glasses. The show did not do well in the ratings, and was cancelled in the summer of 1992 (July 25) in order for NBC to reformat its Saturday morning schedule to young audiences and to launch the Saturday edition of The Today Show, since at this point, NBC was making budget cuts to their 1991 Saturday morning lineup due to the popularity of Saved by the Bell. It last aired in syndication as part of The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera.

Modern voice actors played the voices of certain characters not only because some of them are teenagers, but due to the deaths of Daws Butler, Mel Blanc, and Paul Frees before this series began.

Since Xbox Fitness is going away, I am experimenting with h alternatives. Someone on here recommended The Ultimate Yogi to me, I bought the DVD and today was the first day I tried it.

First impressions:

Of course, there are the obvious differences such as Yo:30 is on Kinnect and thus there is feedback on posture whereas The Ultimate Yogi is just regular DVDs.

Yo: 30 each session is about 30 minutes, whereas most sessions of Ultimate Yogi are about an hour. There are only five Yo:30 sessions, whereas the Ultimate Yogi is 12 DVDs.

I love Yo:30, and I really hope that Jake Feree will produce something to be available after Xbox Fitness goes away. But I found that I enjoyed The Ultimate Yogi as well. The two trainers have a different style. Yo:30 is better explanations for beginners, Ultimate Yogi kind of assumes one already knows what upward facing dog etc is. Yo:30 offers easier modifications and one of the people on screen demos them, while Ultimate Yogi sometimes mentions modifications briefly, everyone on screen seems to be doing full poses, however since it is a DVD and not Kinnect, I can make my own modifications based on what I know from Yo:30, and I do not have any fitness points to loose. The Ultimate Yogi is like being in a yoga class with large number of people, whereas yo:30 just shows three people on screen. I like that both programs have different days with different focus like flow or strength.

Overall I recommend The Ultimate Yogi to anyone who is wondering what to do once Yo:30 goes away or anyone who just wants to expand beyond yo:30 for more variety of yoga experience. It takes some adjusting because of the trainers different styles and the sheer time commitment, but I think it is worth it.

Recently Netflix premiered Saturday Morning All Star Hits a parody of late 80s and late 90s children's programming created by Saturday Night Live alumni Kyle Mooney. In each episode a series of animated shorts are hosted by two radical 90s brothers named Skip & Treybor (both played by Mooney.) Many of the shows parodied in the series are fairly obvious spoofs, for example “Create-A-Critters” is riff on “puffy cheek” plush toy inspired shows like Care Bears and Popples. Also much of much of the humor is based on human failing. Randy for instance is a college aged depressed parody of Denver the Last Dinosaur who binge drinks as a coping mechanism. Skip and Treybor develop a toxic case of sibling rivalry after a voice acting role propels Skip to greater fame and popularity. Meanwhile reality keeps crashing in on Skip & Treybor's neon colored lo-fi world. Cartoon segments abruptly end or become drastically retooled while an OJ Simpson-esc trial begins to interrupt the show.

While you don't need to be a 90s kid to appreciate the show's humor what many have missed is that Mooney is satirizing a very specific programming block that marked the death knell for children's animation on one of America's largest and most respected networks.

A Titan In Decline

In the 80s NBC was a major player on Saturday Mornings largely thanks to such hits as Smurfs, Alvin & The Chipmunks, and Disney's Adventures of the Gummie Bears. However by the time 1990 came along the network was in dire straights. The Gummie Bears bounced off the network to ABC in 1989 only to bounce again to the widely popular Disney Afternoon block in 1990. The Smurfs would experience an awkward retool 1989 that sent them on time traveling adventures in an attempt at a season-long serialized story that was ultimately unresolved due to the show's cancellation. In 1990 Alvin & The Chipmunks would become Chipmunks Go To The Movies and spend their last season doing parodies of timely films like Tim Burton's Batman and Robocop.

While NBC was slowly losing their strongest shows they were failing to make new hits. Shows like The New Archies and a bizarre animated adaptation of The Karate Kid were outright flops. The network also made baffling decisions. In 1988 an animated adaptation of Jim Henson's Fraggle Rock was canceled not due to low ratings

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.

Well shit... I guess I've been doing this for a year now... Oh what the hell let's do another. First though, Celebrations are in order. Starting here with the first part of a slightly more lengthy special that I definitely didn't just fling together the first part of in three days because I remembered this day was well... Today... I'm not very good at this convincing thing...
