Thinking about long term back ups and also protection from ransomware, whats the best Write Once Read Many? Is it still a CD-R or DVD-R?
Hello, I'm looking to learn how to create, if possible, a channel where members cannot read the message history within that chat except for a single message at top and be able to freely post text in that channel. The intent is for a channel where users can message a user report for moderation purposes but maintain anonymity or discretion when making the report.
In case this isn't possible, I am open to suggestions! Please and thank you for any support you can provide

Hello,
we want to digitze our old records and files, i.e. scanning "tons of" paper. Those are rather old documents which could be easily destroyed by fire. So we simply need a backup.
Therefore we though about getting a digital archive of them. Of course those data shouldn´t be editable afterwards.
We have a SAN which doesn´t support a kind of WORM functionality. So, we thought a kind of software addon that helps, e.g. by running a Windows server with software addon, so users could click on an archive button on their local scanned data.
Is anyone aware of an solution for achieving this?
Btw, there´s no need by law for doing this, so the solution doesn´t have to be certified for anything.

For a project, I have a model which has several foreign keys.
In front end, the model is displayed with an image that depends on a mix of criteria from the foreign keys.
Is it better practice to :
- Read every foreign key each time I load the model in order to determine what image to display?
- Read all foreign keys when one of them is changed, and write the image that should be displayed to the main model?
After perusing our Records Retention Schedule (130 pages), I inquired why the retention period couldn't just default to 5 or 10 years in most cases with the cost of storage getting cheaper by the day. Sure, there will be necessary exceptions, but the burden of adhering to a retention schedule that huge is ridiculous, IMHO. There's tons of stuff that is 1 year, 2 years, 3 years for no good reason.
To make a long story short, I've now been summoned to a meeting tomorrow afternoon to plead my case. The IT and clerical people are lazy and trying to defeat my suggestion by claiming they would have to hire more people. They're also saying storage isn't so cheap because of "Write Once Read Many" which seems like a poor excuse.
We adhere to AIIM ARP1-2009 standards.
Can anyone offer suggestions to back my argument, or, if necessary, shoot it down?

A nurse came in to the room to check on them during 5 am. They are sleeping quietly. She woke Leano up and start to get checkups on her. She will come by again to check on the baby afterwards.
Leano hugged Legosi into her hands, he was very warm and his baby fur is a bit fuzzy. His breath is so small that she barely feel it in her arms. She snuggled him with her nose on his head. He gave another kick in response.
It's almost 9 am the sunlight is shining through the window. Leano still held Legosi in her hands and she's staring at him with a smile on her face. The sunlight shone a bit on his eyes and he starts to wake up.
He cried for a bit, but was later calmed down by his mother. The nurse came in to do a checkup on him. Following behind was a giant komodo dragon. He's Gosha, Leano's father.
He stood quietly aside in the room. The nurse barely noticed him. The nurse left after finish checking up on the baby.
After she closed the door, Leano called her father. "Come here dad, it's your grandson. "
Gosha sheepishly came to her side. She held Legosi upwards a bit so he could held him too.
When he picked up the baby boy he started crying and some venom coming out from his mouth. He sucked them back, cause he was afraid his poison will melt the floor.

Leano responded, "Now you do. "with a warming smile on her face. They hugged together with Legosi in his hands.
After some small talk with Leano, Gosha left the hospital. Legosi is fast asleep when he left, Leano left him in his cradle beside her and start eating her food the hospital gave just now.

Maybe I'm just bad at using Venti but I feel like boosting your Main and Sub DPS elemental mastery by 100 will make more difference than Venti's kit over hers? also free up a couple of artefact slot options for you.

It's a really light book like less than a hundred pages and it seems every other fucking page JTG and by association Shad (Rest In Peace.) Were getting heat for some dumb shit and half the time they just HAD to figure out the cause. You didn't take a drink offered by a top guy? You fucking get heat, you took that drink, but can't hold your liquor well and pass out? You also get fucking heat. A top guy and legend calls you THE FUCKING N WORD? Well you better no sell it. THe dumbest one was JTG saying he got heat because he would go to his hotel room during a foreign trip, yes the boys didn't like him cause he went to his room. He didn't realize that what he's 'supposed to do was wait till the top guys go first and then check into his room. Maybe it’s just me but life got in the way and I stopped writing for a few years now and I tried to get back into it a few times but just couldn’t seem to find my rhythm like before.
So I went back and read some of my old stuff for inspiration and saw how descriptive and detailed my writing was before and just to see the decline with how it is now is kinda disappointing.
Not upset how my life turned out, I’m actually pretty happy. But it is a little sad that something that once brought me a lot of joy and release has became something I can no longer do, due to lack of time.
Maybe one day I’ll finally get back into it and back to where I was.
