I'll divide my argument into several distinct sections.
Their children are now modern Australians. Studies show that there is a positive correlation between criminals and criminal parents.
The research revealed thatΒ childrenΒ of criminalΒ parentsΒ had a 2.4 times higher chance of falling into crime than children without criminal parents

Even though modern Australians are separated from their criminal ancestors by a few generations, their innate criminality may burst forth any moment.
Also, forcing all Australians to be park attendants would eliminate their five percent unemployment rate and teach them valuable skills that will repress their criminal natures.

Wheat.
They are a first world nation about the same size as the usa with a land littered with natural resources and they have 20th largest economy in the world. Brazil outpaces them easily and they dont even have shoes.
Converting the country into a waterpark and mining its resources is the most efficient use of the land.

In a zoo these animals will be able to comb the vast australian outback while still being monitored by their park attendants for all the world to enjoy, safely.

All of this land is wasted and could be filled with concession stands, rollercoasters, wave pools, waterslides the size of a freeway, resorts, ect ect.

... keep reading on reddit β‘The year is 1978. What do you get if you combine burgeoning (and largely untested) waterpark technology and lax regulation? New and exciting ways of drowning as it turns out.
There are many ways Action Park could kill you. You could drown in the wave pool, which was too aggressive, and too deep. You could get stuck upside-down inside the looping waterslide. Or you could go kayaking.
In the Kayak Experience ride guests paddled through white water rapids, created by underwater fans. The boats were unwieldy and the guests, often inexperienced and drunk, frequently found themselves in the drink. This is exactly what happened on August 1st, 1982. A 27 year old man fell out of his kayak, but when he stood to right it, he stepped on a metal grate underwater. This grate shorted with a piece of wire powering the underwater fans, electrocuting him. He suffered a heart attack and died hours later at a local hospital.

Waterparks - Airplane Conversations - This is an incredibly rare album released before the band Waterparks got big. This was sent to me directly from the band years ago when I ran a music reviewing blog. Only 1 has ever sold on discogs, and it went for 300. Make me an offer.

... keep reading on reddit β‘The season hasn't started this year yet, but I figured I could put this up anyway. I work(ed) at Schlitterbahn(or Shitterbahn, as some of the workers prefered to call it), but I wasn't a lifeguard. I actually worked as a Greeter meaning I checked coolers for glass and beer(any alcohol really), made sure that only people with wristbands were getting into the park, gave directions, ran errands, put wristbands on people and picked up trash. Go ahead and ask.
With six water parks (indoor and outdoor) in an unsuspecting small town in Wisconsin, I have contemplated making the cross-country trip from the East Coast. Have you been? What are the parks like?
