A list of puns related to "Winterborn"
Hi there. So Iβm a Resto Druid that has been spending the last month grinding 25,000 Anima for the Winterborn Raiment gear set. Iβm very close to 25k.
However today Iβve discovered there is a Winterborn staff that goes with the set. But when I looked it up, itβs guarded behind an entire βWinterborn Weaponsβ set for an extra 30k. Is there a way to individually purchase the one staff? I donβt want the other 20 weapons.
Thanks!
Here is a comprehensive list of current Winterborn family members.
(E) - Exiled by Mallory post-shatter
Mallory Winterborn - Age 16. Female. The coldest Winterborn born from an impure marriage of a lying Infernal and a lovestruck Empyrean. She currently holds the title Lady Mallory and is, despite her young age, the head of the family as proclaimed by the elder Iclyn prior to her death. Mallory has unruly shoulder length azure blue hair that is somewhat indigo at the very tips. Her antlers are very smooth with two stems, one pointing down and the other curving upwards. She is also a Primal Zenith with a hippogriff for a primal form. She is described to have 'shattered the bloodline' even though she actually just carried out Iclyn's wishes and repaired the rampant corruption within it. Unlike most Empyreans, she blushes purple.
(E) Blanche Winterborn - Age 21. Female. Prudish, snobby, and thinks she's better than everyone else. Really hates Mallory. Is the daughter of Mallory's mother's brother, Abel. She has short sky blue hair styles into bangs in the front. Her antlers have one short set poking and meeting directly above her forehead while the lower longer pair curves downwards and towards her chin. One of them is broken at the end due to an injury from a scuffle with Mallory.
Floe Winterborn - Age 31. Female. Estranged Cousin of Mallory since the age of 15 due to her promiscuity. A nymphomaniac, but will never do anything nonconsensual. Physically endowed. Unlike Mallory, she has a rather petite form outside of her bosom and her thighs. She does not have broad or muscular shoulders like Mallory does. Her hair is straight and well maintained, and appears a navy-ultramarine at the roots that tapers into a sapphire hue. Her antlers have a birth defect that causes them to be limp and flop down into her hair, unless she is enraged, in which case they will stand erect with two major stems and one prong on the lower stem.
Calla Winterborn - Age 12. Female. One of the relatives that Mallory gets along with. Is in fact Floe's younger half sister that she never knew she had. Born from a different mother after Floe's father divorced her mother for producing a 'disgrace to the Winterborn name.' Not an Empyrean, but is still elementally endowed with ice and wind. Studies ballet. Dislikes her father because of how rudely he speaks of her older half sister. Did not grieve when he was disposed of by Mallory. She was ecstatic to finally get to meet Floe.

... keep reading on reddit β‘So, I have worked very hard to become Exalted with The Court of Night and earn 25k anima so that I could buy the Winterborn Regalia with the main goal of having the tunic.
HOWEVER, it was not in the set, even though when you try on the set in the dressing room, itβs there. I havenβt seen it with any of the other vendors.
Wowhead says thatβs where it comes from.
Am I missing something?

hi. i am a magplar currently with mother of sorrow and winterborn, and valkyn skoria and zaan depending on situations. i have lots of false gods stuff, should I run it instead of winterborn? thanks
Need help*
So I've been playing with some set ideas (for fun, not trying to build anything super strong) and I was wondering - The Winterborn set says 'When you deal frost damage you have an 8% chance to summon an ice pillar' - I was wondering if this Frost damage would proc from the Iceheart set frost damage?
I thought I'd ask here rather than farm the whole Winterborn and Iceheart set just to test it. If anyone knows the answer that'd be great!
Give thanks collectors

Itβs about Patroclus, friend/lover/companion of Achilles.
Homer made it clear that Patroclus was older than Achilles, but he never says how much & itβs clear that Achilles had all the power so to speak. So letβs assume theyβre basically peers because we have too much information to go with the pederastic alternative. We know Achilles was born in the summer around the solstice, so it would make sense that an βolderβ peer was born in the preceding WINTER solstice- older but not so much to change the dynamic.
Achilles was born a prince, destined to greatness. Patroclus was... not. He was Achillesβ light in the fury of this darkest hour. In his dying, he influenced the cause of history & thus was more alive than he had ever been.
Thoughts? Iβve been listening to βWinterbornβ a lot recently as a pick-me-up & I just recently picked up Madeline Millerβs βSong of Achillesβ and the worlds converged in my head.
Ran Maelstrom about 20 times now and no Winterborn jewelery. No shield either.

I'm just curious if it will work b/c winterborn says "ability" so idk what specifically that means.
Same with set Icy Conjuror~Frozen Watcher
The wind whistled through the many cracks in the walls of the flimsy cabin, bringing a chill that the fire in the hearth could not keep out. Grandfather knelt down and pulled a scrapbook from the box he kept under his cot. He sat on the cot with his back to the wall and held the scrapbook in his withered blue veined hands. The cabin door opened, flooding the single room with frigid air. His grandson Alaric walked in with a load of freshly chopped wood in his arms and kicked the door shut behind him. "Put those down and drag the chair over, I want to show you something." grandfather says.
Alaric frowns at him but he does what is requested. He throws a few new pieces of wood on the fire and puts the rest into the rusty metal box next to the fireplace. The chair scrapes along the wooden floor as Alaric drags it from in front of the rough stone fireplace to his grandfather's cot in the corner. He flops into the chair and sticks his long legs out in front of him, crossed at the ankles. He crosses his arms across his chest with his profile towards his grandfather.
His grandfather looks at him for a moment. Alaric is only fifteen but he is already as big as a full grown man--over six feet tall. He has his long hair tied back with a leather cord and his beard has filled out in the past year. Alaric doesn't talk much, so his grandfather is not expecting conversation from him. "I'm dying, I can feel it. This cough gets worse all the time." Grandfather says, his voice raspy. Alaric turns his bright blue gaze to him; his grandfather sees something flicker briefly in his normally unemotional eyes. Compassion perhaps?
"I'm glad it was your father's turn to go hunting this time. I have been wanting to show this to you. I have been collecting journal entries, newspaper clippings and anything I could find that survived the bombings. I'm sorry we never taught you to read, else you could read this stuff yourself. We didn't see a need to teach to read, I guess." Alaric looks at the scrapbook as his grandfather begins reading from the singed and tattered pages of a journal.
An alarm went off, along with an electronic recording in a woman's voice "Warning! Warning! Incoming nuclear warheads detected. Four minutes to first impact. Proceed to bunker. Auto launch sequence commencing. Intercept missile launch commencing in two minutes. Proceed to nearest bunker." The message continued, on a loop with twenty seconds of silence between each repetition. People panicked and start
... keep reading on reddit β‘Made for a campaign that starts on a new continent in a homebrew world. Our party met up on the ship for one reason or another and had the months long journey to become acquainted.
Party consists of A Moon Druid, Polearm Fighter, Conjuration Wiz, and Rogue Thief, and my Eladrin Raven Queen Warlock, Rita.
Starting off I've taken Prestidigitation and Frostbite for cantrips, as well as Hex and Dissonant Whispers. (I realise now this is on the Great old one expanded spell list and I picked it incorrectly) Level 2 I picked up Sanctuary from the Raven Queen spell list.
Invocations: Misty Visions (Silent Image at will) and Eldritch Sight (Detect Magic at will). I am very concentration heavy at the moment, with Hex vying with my invocations for my concentration slot. Where we left off last session Id just hexed a goblin, so we'll see how it goes.
Level 3 on it's way fast. For my pact Im basically settled on Tome. Blade just isn't needed with our party comp, and Chain would be my choice in a more social campaign. By choosing Pact of The Tome, I get access to 1 of the 2 RQ specific Invocations. Free speak with Dead? Hell Yeah.
Two free rituals? Find Familiar (So I'll essentially have two, hell yeah) and probably alarm or Identify. Whatever the wizard didn't take). Come to think, the Wiz (Chap Badgers) knows find familiar so I can just scribe it.
For my 3 any-class cantrips, I'm thinking Mold Earth for campsite/trenches/burrowing/avalanche nonsense. Shocking Grasp, because I want a touch cantrip for my familiar to deliver. Get the wizard out of combat by giving him a free disengage, with damage. Have a cat rub up against an NPC, then deliver a jolt. That kind of thing. Last one could be spare the dying, booming blade, guidance, mending, message, or even shillelagh, because it's fun. Not to mention Thorn Whip and Toll the Dead! I am paralyzed by options here.
Level 4, pick up Eldritch Blast as my third Warlock cantrip. Take Elven Accuracy at level 4 and abuse advantage for consistent damage. Plus the Push invocation for knocking monsters around.
Level 5, 2 beams of EB, add agonizing blast to up my damage, possibly take the RQ Blessing crit invocation. Whenever I crit with a beam of EB I let an ally heal 1 hit die. Might even be powerful enough to let me skip picking spare the dying guilt free!
I'm rambling. Any thoughts welcome
