Iβve heard the theory that Stannis will get all of the Northerners killed in the Battle of Winterfell. Boltons, Umbers, Karstarks, Clansmen, Manderlies, and everyone else even though he wins.
I personally think that if this theory is true that my love for the series would be damaged as it would effectively put the background message of war is bloody and costly above the actual story of Stannis trying to save his kingdom. The only other reason would be to force Stannis to burn his daughter out of desperation which is arguably worse because it would be the man who defined his life by doing his duty breaking his most closely held morals and beliefs for a shot in the dark, it wouldnβt even be a good example of breaking down a character because he has zero choice left, he either takes Winterfell or starves in the snow.
What do you think?
EDIT: Despite turning out to be completely wrong here, I'm going to leave this up because, well, hey the intent was pure. In retrospect I realize that, even here, I was still somewhat reeling from Dogecoin's initial rocket rise, and, having seen the price come crashing down before, I found myself in a constant state of waiting for the other shoe to drop. It made me incredibly skittish and definitely influenced my decisions and mindset. When I look back on my other posts linked here as well in this light it really helps to bring it into focus. As always, the intent is to try and protect but sometimes that can also blind you to opportunity. Hey all, GoodShibe here!
This part is never fun, watching the party come to a close. Heck, it seems like I've spent pretty much this entire run feeling like some kind of school marm, trying to warn people of the dangerous phases of the pump cycle, or keep newbies from running head-first into the waiting jaws of killer whales or when, incorrectly, as it turned out, I saw the end of the run coming.
Interestingly enough, I saw two distinct points over the last month that signaled to me the end of the run and in each time I watched what I can only assume was big money swoop in to save the day. The first time, I literally stayed up all night and watched in real time as someone put up a buy wall and soaked up what seemed to be a catastrophic sell wave of coins. Like, seriously, 8 hours of watching the line stay at or above with barely a dip. It was insane. I wish I had gotten it on video. Essentially, as far as I can tell, we had about 3 solid pump cycles during this run - pretty much a solid 2 months, from early February to early April.
Anyway, as with all good things, this run is starting to, finally, come to a close.
In short: Crypto Winter is coming.
What is Crypto Winter? In short, it's the end phase of the boom cycle, the end of the run and when interest begins to wane in cryptocurrency. This can be a long, long

All because of the northmen tradition to die so other might live, the ultimate sacrifice. Some go for battle, others go to die in the snow of hypothermia or starvation.
During a dance with dragons we get a glimpse of that happening again. the clansmen telling stannis loyalists about this tradition. There are a few taking up arms against the boltons supporting stannis. But winter is upon them, and I wonder what the rest is doing.
**Will there be more people arming themselves up to die for winter is upon them....? this time winter is gonna be worse than ever! (which the clansmen dont even seem to notice)**Actually up in the mountains winter is harder, much colder. So the men from there are much harder so perhaps they dont feel difference.
Jordan Grider was an avid outdoorsman and had spent a majority of the last decade living in the hills of Kentucky. The 29 year old man from New Mexico had decided to challenge himself even further and try to last a Minnesota winter in the BWCA.
The Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness is a massive area of over 1 million acres along the US/Canadian border accessible by canoe only. There are over 2000 lakes and it is also home to many animals including moose, deer, eagles, small game and even timberwolves. The area is known for its solitude and remoteness and while accessible to everyone, can be a very challenging place to navigate.
In October of 2018, conservation officers found his truck parked illegally in front of a private gate on the Sioux Hustler Trail. Authorities were called to deal with it and this was how Jordan was brought to their attention. They searched for him but had no luck. All they had was a receipt from October 10th from somewhere in the nearby town of Ely, MN.
For the next six months, winter raged and they werenβt able to search the way they wanted in the remote and hostile area but in April when the weather turned mild and they were able, they headed out on snowmobiles and continued the search.
Eventually they found the area where he likely would have set up base and after a brief search, walked right into his camp. It was on a south-facing slope and would have been protected from the harsh north wind.
Conservation Sean Williams was quoted as saying - βItβs in a super-remote place, If you were looking for a spot to avoid contact with people, he really did find it.β
What they found was a snow covered campsite with a large amount of blood everywhere. There was a makeshift tent, a hammock strung up and a 9-millimeter Beretta pistol with 2 magazines of ammo- not loaded.
The found more blood inside the hammock and sleeping bag as well as inside of the tent.
Continuing the search they did not find a body but they did find signs of a pack of wolves in prints and scat.
It took another month for the snow to melt enough for the men to find partial remains of Jordan. A few bones scattered around the area. After a team of 20-30 people along with cadaver dogs failed to find any more remains, they gave up the search.
Foul play was ruled out as was suicide.
The controversy and mystery in the case is βWas Jordan attacked by wolves?β Attacks by wolves are extremely rare and animal defenders are adamant that it was definitely not an attack.
