A creepy old man is walking around his house, looking at pictures of his family taped to the wall. He's happy to be alone, and points out the pictures. There's a vague insinuation that he has made it so that they will never come home again; somehow they came to a bad end. He'd end a thought in a satisfied, sighing "Yah... yah... yahhhhhh."

I'm thinking it was usually aired on a basic cable channel, like VH1 or Comedy Central. Possibly TLC or Food Network. Could also be something like Fox, since they had good shows in the late '90s.
Might be a commercial for a printer, which he used to print the pictures? A web service (WebTV?) that he used to download or email the pictures? Something to do with Kinkos? One of those bizarre Yahoo commercials?
Another user remembered the commercial in my previous thread and says, >I can't find it, but I remember a computer (I think) commercial where an old man is shuffling through his house talking about things he's done with his computer, but they all sound weird/creepy. "I got rid of my no-good cousin, yah yah" as he's shown deleting photos, "I sent my grandkids to [place], yah yah" he emails video of said kids.

My husband and I are planning a trip to the Oregon coast to whale watch (for our honeymoon actually.) Our dates are pretty flexible, so I wasn't sure if we'd have better luck seeing whales off the coast the week before Christmas, or the week after (or even the first week of January.) All of the information I've found on the interwebs so far is vague and most of the posts that come up here if you search "whale" are about an exploding whale, which seems to be some sort of local inside joke lol.
It looks like maybe they haven't designated a "whale watching week" yet - does anyone know if things are vague because it varies every year or something?
We're looking for an air bnb on the water - so hopefully we'll have good luck! Any tips for success are appreciated - Seeing whales in the wild is my dream (as someone who has been land locked almost all my life).
FINALLY today we got to go on the whale watching trip that I booked for our anniversary in July. He loves being on the water and he was so excited to go so I’m so happy we got to do this. It was beautiful we saw multiple humpback whales and many gorgeous bottlenose dolphins!! It was such a lovely experience together! Afterwards, we got really yummy ice cream and had a great lunch by the water where I surprised him with his Christmas present and I really think he is happy about it. I got him tickets to an event in November so I had to give it to him early. We were also going to go ring shopping today which is exciting but the cruise ran a little late so we didn’t make it to the store before they closed so we’re going another day.
