A list of puns related to "West Seattle"
In terms of unpredictable outcomes, that's one of the shockers of the season, even with Wilson's injury.
I am wondering if anyone knows has any idea of how to make this chicken. Very delicious, thin candy-like coating on it. Hard to describe, I have really never had anything like it before! They also make Crispy Garlic Shrimp which Iβm also interested in learning how to makeβ¦

Apparently it's not uncommon for deer to swim between Port Angeles and Vancouver and the San Juan Islands. Neat.
EDIT HOLMES IS BACK SAFE AND SOUND INSIDE.
My cat, Holmes, got out of the house last night. While trying to find him outside, a roommate of mine stumbled across him and he ran off. He has not been seen since. Holmes is a shy, but friendly, cat. He is afraid of men and tall people, usually.
I live on 18th Ave SW, between Graham and Holly St.
I've spent all day in the snow looking for him, and I'm worried sick. I've checked with three of my closest neighbors, and there is no sign of him. There are no paw prints, no meows, no reflections of his eyes when I shine my lights. I believe that he's likely hiding somewhere, perhaps in the greenbelt or in a bush I've not checked, or under someone's deck or porch.
Please, if you've seen him or if you've taken him in, let me know. In addition, if anyone has a printer or humane traps I can borrow, please let me know since I would like to make some flyers and posters.
EDIT: Holmes was last spotted at 5:21 AM on 12/27/2021 heading north on 18th Ave SW by a neighbour's Ring. Please, if you live in the area, keep your eyes peeled and slap the hood of your car and check underneath before driving! Thanks.
In January of last year I posted about Sound Transit's Capital Realignment Program, and that it had identified (among others) West Seattle - Ballard Link as a top issue with their money problems. Importantly, Sound Transit had identified that costs were increasing yearly and that the then-current design work needed to be put on pause indefinitely because they were looking at a ~10 billion dollar funding gap across their projects
After discussion with other posters I noted the mods removed the post. When I asked why the post was removed I later I got a rambling explanation that accused me of a vast connected conservative conspiracy theory, KUMO News, misinformation and a bunch of other power trip type buzzwords. Importantly, some mod and some users heavily implied that the hiatus was not permanent. One was u/BareLeggedCook, who couldn't understand the documents I was presenting to him and is now being called out for being wrong
Back in the real world, Sound Transit punted the ballooning deficit back to an independent board to develop new cost estimates. i.e., to produce a second opinion for why West Seattle/Ballard couldn't be completed. Earlier last year Sound Transit got the new cost estimates (one word: yikes) and concluded that they needed to make cost cutting measures.
Approval, however, would be dependent on City Council. That approval has occurred.
In March, Sound Transit quietly acknowledged in a blog post that the current West Seattle - Ballard Link plan "will need to change" and later in the month proposed to the city council an alternative West Seattle - Ballard Link that removed most Ballard / West Seattle rail, and focused on creating connections into the two neighborhoods (ending terminals at Delridge and Smith Cove, respectively)
Later, Sound Transit proposed several ways forward, which were released in anticipation [of a draft resolution by Sound Transit](https://www.soundtransit.org/st_sharepoint/downloa
... keep reading on reddit β‘Hey all - I'm finally able to get to some games in person, and I'm trying to figure out my transportation strategy for getting to the CPA from West Seattle (Island).
I was thinking Water Taxi, even though it's a bit of a hike, but they aren't running today. Plan B was maybe park downtown and Monorail over. Any tips from fellow West Seattlites?
Got to my first game on Sunday, and it was a super fun experience! We're clearly not quite a hockey town yet. The crowd and environment felt more like a concert than a hockey game, but that's sort of what I remember from some early Sharks games I went to as well. We'll get there.
I WAS kind of bummed that nearly the entire stadium up and left after the empty-netter. Felt kinda disrespectful to both teams (and fellow spectators) that a 44-second jump start on traffic was that important. Still, really psyched to have hockey in Seattle! While I hate losing games, I think it's really fun to watch the team evolve on a nearly daily basis.
I am gauging just how crazy it might be to drive from west Seattle to Bellevue any time today? I have a newer AWD SUV. Iβm comfortable snow driving, but Iβm new to Seattle and donβt understand where to draw the line of possible and impossible.
Update: I got what I needed close to me. Safely back home! So glad I didnβt have to drive to Bellevue.

I just moved here and my husband and I love Indian food. Where should we go?
FUN DIFFERENTIAL INTENSIFIES
Edit: also 3 gigabytes from the wild card
I'm a Bellingham local but come down once or twice a year to see family or go to a convention. With the bridge still being worked on I was thinking of looking for places to eat and hang in West Seattle. Its pretty easy to find stuff on google for Seattle proper but I'm hoping the local community may have better info.
Thanks!
Hi Friendly Types!
My friend (player) and I (DM) are looking for 2-3 additional players for a weekly/biweekly Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday game in West Seattle.
The game is set in a Homebrew world with a focus on roleplay and story.
I have lots of familiarity teaching new players so all experience levels are welcome.
My friend and I are both queer and would be happy to have more LGBTQIA2+ folks at our table.
Message me if you're interested and would like more information!
