We ordered through the app, it said we had until 10:25 to order breakfast. We ordered before that time, and attempted to pick it up at 10:31. They said they stopped serving breakfast at 10:30 and told us to hit cancel. We did, and it said "Thank you for your order" and charged us. The charge went through so I called them after it posted, and they said the franchise would refund it. They never did, and I'm having to dispute the charge through the bank. No food, after driving there, and no refund.
When I went to give the app a one star rating, I read dozens of reviews with the same story, the app cheated them and wendy's never refunded charges. I also found out they don't start cooking until you get there. Why use the app, then?
When I wrote customer service to check on the refund that was 6 days late, they corrected my misuse of a word and never answered my question about my refund.
When I went to other review sites to review the restaurant, I found many many people on yelp had gotten food poisoning at that particular store (Barnett Shoals, Athens, Ga.) Maybe it's better that they were too rude and lazy to give us our food! I still want my money back, though. I hate being robbed.
Wendy's used to be a nice fast food restaurant, now it's all "food poisoning and cheating customers" apparently. Be careful of your money and your health if you eat there.
