A list of puns related to "Waxman"
watched an old episode of guy's ranch chicken and Jonathan Waxman was a guest. I could listen to and watch that man cook all day. Fight me.
As being an incredibly slow reader, like took a month and a week or two to finish ONE BOOK, I took myself on a challenge to read and finish a novel in less that 4 days and I am grateful that I managed to accomplish this about a novel that delves in the many facets, lives, perspectives and problems we deal as a person and as a family in such a realistic narrative.
Book Blurb:
As the longtime local carpool mom, Frances Bloom is sometimes an unwilling witness to her neighbors' private lives. She knows her cousin is hiding her desire for another baby from her spouse, Bill Horton's wife is mysteriously missing, and now this...
After the shock of seeing Anne Porter in all her extramarital glory, Frances vows to stay in her own lane. But that's a notion easier said than done when Anne's husband throws her out a couple of days later. The repercussions of the affair reverberate through the four carpool families--and Frances finds herself navigating a moral minefield that could make or break a marriage.
I judge people, a lot, based on how they look, behave, act and everything in between and I honestly hate myself for doing that everytime in my head because I know the old saying "Never judge a book by its cover" and its really a 50/50 if my observation proves wrong or correct after meeting and getting to know them. But this book slaps and punishes me even more for doing this on the many people I meet. The story covers the pain, loss, personal battles, struggles and sheds light on the how family can come from all shapes, sizes, beliefs, etc and makes you think that, maybe you shouldn't judge people and gossip about their problems in life without getting the full picture.
It has its light hearted and comedic moments to ease the tension of love affairs and serious topics, but it all boils down on the quote of the front cover of the novel.
Behind every closed door is an open secret
Maybe the random person that I just meet for a college group project isn't doing their part because of personal mental and familial problems, or a teacher that was too lazy or lacked the energy to teach because of financial problems or personal struggles, yet all of these are hidden by a closed door and I learned to keep myself calmed and collective and just deal with it. Yeah there might be many interpretations, and other perspectives that are plain obvious but its better to be on the safe side than further harm whatever they're dealing with since I don't have the full pictur

Thanks in advance.
After King of Ooo got dethroned and melted back At the end of Stakes it left a cliffhanger as to what became of him. It was shown he escaped as a blob of earwax and apparently is now calling himself Waxman as seen in some storyboard art that includes his new look and his cameo at Turtle Princessβs wedding. So there were plans from him to show up again but nobody used him.
I am curious about this class because I just enrolled and theres not much online to see. Does anyone have any documents/lecture notes/previous exams from him and this class? What do you learn? Is he a good professor?

I've used a Waxman LeakSmart water valve (v1) to control my water main since sometime in 2015. About a week ago, I had water leak which resulted in the water valve being shut. When I resolved the leak, I was unable to open the valve using Hubitat, the zigbee coordinator I use, or even using the open/close buttons directly on the valve controller.
When I tried to open the valve (via Hubitat or the physical buttons), I could hear the motor grind horribly, so I decided to open it up just to see what it was going on. The LeakSmart has a controller that slides onto a motor assembly, which in turn is bolted on to the brass valve body. The motor assembly comes off with four screws.
The motor is a low-speed, high-torque, DC motor connected a circular nylon gear that rotates to move a nylon gear on the valve body to control the ball valve. Anyway, a single tooth had partly broken off on the circular nylon gear, so it would engage to close the valve, but not open it. And obviously this happened after 5+ years of use, so that's not bad for wear and tear.
I called LeakSmart tech support to see if I could purchase that little gear and what the part number was, The guy I spoke with (Keith) was super-professional; he knew what I was talking about in less than a minute. He said they'd be happy to ship me a entire new motor assembly for free.
And, less than a week later, I received it.
I'm just hugely impressed by the quality of Waxman's support. I sent Keith a note of thanks after receiving the package and in his reply he asked me to put a good review out there somewhere.
So this post is exactly that - first off, that valve worked flawlessly for 5+ years (maybe even 6 years). Either way, it was clearly out of warranty, so I think that Waxman's sending out a replacement part for free after all these years is incredible.
Anyone considering the purchase of a zigbee main water valve should include the Waxman in their consideration. My experience with them has been excellent!
