What is the best store for renter’s (adhesive) wallpaper?

Preferably somewhat budget friendly 😬

If anyone lives in the Twin Cities Axman Surplus (the one I went to is in Fridley) has T O N S of amazing textured wallpaper samples for 15¢ each. I bought two dozen. They also had a ton of really adhesive-backed wood veneer reddit.com/gallery/prtwwc

Best adhesive for kit "glossy" wallpaper? Other supplies?

So I have a couple of those miniature room kits, and I'm wondering what my best adhesive option is for the glossy magazine print style wallpaper. I tried lightly spreading the wall with tacky glue and attaching the papers, and even found it very carefully sometimes leaves bubbles since the fibres swell.

I'm also finding Aleene original tacky glue a slow option for gluing together the wooden bits for furniture, as you have to hold it in place so long. Superglue doesn't want to set well on the painted wood.

Lastly I'm in Canada, so some glue options are either unavailable here or have crazy shipping on Amazon.

Both are Spilay kits by the way, the sushi restaurant and a little living room with porch swing and a music box insert.

I have eyelash glue wands to help spread the glue, and tweezers and pliers. I just bought a clear plastic ruler but need a pair of small sharp pointed scissors to cut the paper accessories neatly. I do have chronic migraine and Psoriatic arthritis which makes me sometimes a bit wobbly.

Thank you all!

LPT: If you are putting up wallpaper that requires separate adhesive…lightly spray the wallpaper sections with water first and “book the ends together” for a few minutes. Then use a roller to apply the paste right on the wall.

This is much less messy.

Typically, standard wallpaper makes you apply the paste to the paper first. You must do this to allow the wall paper to swell a bit and prevent bubbles as it drys. Then you “book” or fold the pasted ends together on a table and let the wall paper swell before applying to the wall. This is pretty messy, especially for the inexperienced. You can buy wall paper that is specifically meant for “paste on wall” or “pre-pasted wallpaper”, but if the design you love comes in just the standard type of wallpaper, you can use this tip.

By misting the paper with a bit of water first and booking the ends together, you allow the paper to swell without the mess of the paste and you can apply the adhesive paste directly on the wall instead with a roller. Just make sure you lightly mist the wallpaper so it doesn’t get soggy! Good luck 🍀
