TIL that hundred thousands of kudzu plants were planted in the US South to fight erosion. The vine can spread over one foot a day and spread through runners, rhizomes and by vines that root at the nodes. It is now overtaking entire areas, outcompeting all other plants including trees

Do not plant or allow invasive vines to grow. Every tree here in varying states of collapse is a native. Virginia creeper, muscadine, and poison ivy would not do this.

Kudzu is an invasive vine plant that covers or gets into anything. Including cinderblock and brickk construction. It came in through the tiny holes for electrical conduit and started spreading inside this abandoned factory

My Swiss cheese vine keeps producing yellow leaves and Iβve done everything to try and prevent it. Grow light, new pot for better drainage, new soil and it still keeps getting yellow leaves. I water it when the soil starts getting dry. Itβs my favorite plant and I hate seeing him like this.

The pomato is a grafted plant that is produced by grafting together a tomato plant and a potato plant, both of which are members of the Solanum genus in the Solanaceae (nightshade) family. Cherry tomatoes grow on the vine, while white potatoes grow in the soil from the same plant.

Looking for some βautopsyβ feedback on the demise of this vine. This has been a healthy happy plant hanging and all of a sudden today I found this rotting vine. The soil is dry. (This vine was towards the back so itβs possible I missed early signs.) No sign of pests, could I be fungal?

Not only do catnip and silver vine hold a special place in felinesβ hearts, research finds the intoxicating chemicals in these plants also protect cats from mosquito bites. The characteristic response of domestic cats to plant iridoids allows them to gain chemical defense against mosquitoes.

Afraid to cut the vines on your pothos/philodendrons and other vining plants. Youβll get 2-3 new branches per cut. As uncomfortable as it is, if you want a thick and bushy plant, you need to make your cuts nice and high up so they thicken near the top.

Alright plant friends. Need some help. Got this beaut from a friends mom who said it was too big. Gave it a much needed repot apparently but some of the leaves look almost burnt? I've also tried to let the vines have some climbing room but I'm unsure if that's a good idea. Thanks!

Good vine/climbing plants for terrarium?
I recently bought a 18x18x36 skyscraper tank for my 2 juvenile whites tree frogs (thinking about getting a third). A friend of a friend suggested a bioactive tank setup, so I'm looking into live plants. Are there any good plants that grow vines or will climb wood that are safe for frogs? (I have a cork backing)
If you have any other advice about bioactive tanks, I'd love to hear it!
