A list of puns related to "Unholy Grave"
Not very familiar with Unholy Grave's music. I've heard their split with Warsore but that's about it. What's a good release of theirs to start out with? what's their best? what's ya'll's favorite? lemme have it
Based on data from the 32 decks that ended up top 8 in the last 2 weeks of challenges on MTGO.
Number preceding the Name of the card is total # of card. Number after the name of card if # of appearances in each deck.
I did this just to see what newer cards are seeing play; only thing really shocking is Subtlety being higher than the other mythic evokers; despite it appearing to have the least hype around it.

Geela was hot on Hariโs heels, and she knew it. The soul searches were returning back stronger with every wall she leapt through, though each skip was a little harder with two passengers to keep together. Bugsquito and Scout made it clear that theyโd both rather die than continue traveling with Geela, though, Scout sounded a lot more sure of itself. Bugsquitoโs voice wavered a bit more every time it said it.
โI mean it! Just kill me! Kill me! I would go proudly to my death. Just d-do it.โ At this last sentence, its voice cracked, and it covered its face with three hands, but not before Geela could see the panic on its little face.
โFoolish monstersquito would allow our foul captor to hear its weakness,โ Scoutโs voice burbled from her pouch. โI will show no such fear. I will stay strong or die trying.โ
Wasnโt it just wonderful? During the actual traveling, it was mostly just griping and whining and cursing Geela to die in all manner of horrible and rather creative ways, which was entertaining enough to keep the days passing smoothly. They would occasionally start bickering with each other, and that was both amusing and educational.
โJust burn through her pocket already,โ Bugsquito once said while they rested one โevening.โ It kept its voice to a low hiss, probably thinking Geela was asleep or something. โWe need to get out of here! Youโre in a glove! You can do this, Scout!โ
โCall me that again, and I will sentence you to death personally.โ Geela could feel Scout tremble with rage in her pocket, but no additional burning emitted. It was too weak. Geela could hypothesize that Bugsquito was also weak, but she couldn't quite test the theory. A

After having some time to reflect on the 3.0 rules for a few days and playing a 2k game with the new rules, I thought I'd write an updated synopsis of the units and how they stand in my mind. The GHB may change some aspects of this, but since we're basically a 3.0 battletome, I'm not expecting much change. Please keep in mind this is all my opinion and experience, some speculation and analysis.
List building in 3.0 is significantly different than 2.0. You can no longer build a list with the sole purpose of capturing objectives. Swarming objectives with absurds amounts of wounds no longer works as objectives are not that important anymore. Battle tactics is where the game is at now. Being able to deny your opponent a battle tactic for a turn will make a massive difference in the final outcome of the game, same with grand strategy. Running MSU and fragile units are easy points for your opponent and they can cost you the game.
I believe the smart way to play now is to make each and every unit as sturdy as possible, since 3/6 of the battle tactics involve killing units, 1 killing your general and 2 are model based. Running a Vampire Lord as a general for pack alpha isn't a good idea anymore, as that's a free battle tactic for enemy shooting armies.
So, that being said, let's begin.
SBGL Hero Breakdown for 3.0:
Belladamma - Unfortunately she dropped a few pegs. Originally she was an auto include for me. Lycancurse + Spell portal is our strongest range deterrent. However summoning a Dire Wolf on the enemy side of the board is a free battle tactic for your opponent. It's not always a bad idea to do that, you just need to ask yourself if it's worth it because it may cost you the game in points. Especially in a tournament game that will end round 3-4. Belladamma is still a strong pick, a 2 cast wizard +1 cast/unbind, Exploding 6's spell. She's really hard to remove, makes a great general if you want to sacrifice the command trait. She can also deliver amaranthine orb safely, which can double cast and deliver the pain. The 6'' pile in on Dire Wolves shouldn't be overlooked either. Can do a lot with 6'' pile ins.
Radukar - He went up a few pegs. His biggest weakness from my previous review was his inability to fly made him difficult to charge in.
Hello! Just wondering if there is a list out there of all current dlc dungeons ranked easiest to hardest on vet. Me and my buddies are trying to go through all the dlc dungeons on vet and we were preferring to go easiest to hardest to work our way up. I know all dungeons are subject to group experience and level but I just wanna see what everyone else thinks about them.
I run a private campground. Thereโs a lot of odd stuff that lives here, and Iโm not just talking about the people who willingly camp in the low parts that flood every time it rains. No, I mean the inhuman things. And while my family has made quite an effort at figuring out what they are, thereโs still a lot we donโt know.
Iโm starting to learn, though. Things have got to change.
If youโre new here, you should really start at the beginning and if youโre totally lost, this might help.
I was asked to babysit my niece. Or rather, the old sheriffโs wife got asked to babysit. Tylerโs wife is not quite ready to let me do it, considering the whole kidnapping incident. Iโm not sure sheโs ready for anyone to babysit, as that would require letting her daughter leave her sight. Tyler insisted, however. She needed some time off. The stress of worrying about the campground and unnatural things was clearly getting to her. Theyโd go somewhere over the weekend, somewhere busy, with people, where inhuman creatures are sparsely found - or at least, much better at hiding. But he didnโt tell her the latter.
She was quick to shoot down Tylerโs suggestion of letting me babysit. She didnโt want her daughter near the campground. She didnโt want me there at her house long-term. Monsters follow me, she said. Whichโฆ isnโt entirely untrue. So Tyler suggested that they ask the old sheriff instead, as he knew from conversations with me that the old sheriff is both reliable and on good terms with the family. The old sheriff suggested that they ask his wife instead.
And his wife agreed.
The only problem is, the old sheriffโs wife knows that my niece is not my niece. And sheโs not about to play nanny for a changeling just to indulge it.
Once my brother and his wife were on their weekend road trip, I got a text from the old sheriffโs wife that she was on her way over. I met her in the driveway, wondering what the matter was. I wasnโt in suspense long. She got out and started hauling things out of the trunk of the car. Collapsible playpen. A crib. A tote of diapers, bottles, and formula. And this sling thing that the baby goes in I guess???
โHold up, this wasnโt what we told Tyler we w

This is pretty comprehensive through Book Three. After that there's some scattered character and event themes, but nowhere near as much as before then.
We're going to do this in a few themed sections. This is character-theme songs. Later there'll be some per-book songs.
There are songs in here annotated as being part of APGTE Abridged, meaning they refer to the hypothetical parody abridged-series version. They're bad puns, generally.
No thought at all has been given to overall musical cohesion, of general sound or genre. Clearly, I'm a fan of rock, metal, and pop, though we're dipping into folk, showtunes, and hip-hop a bit. I should add some country to round it out.
Official motto: "lies and violence!"
Heaven Knows, by The Pretty Reckless - they're good kids, really. Okay, they're not. That was a lie.
Cat gets the most in-depth song treatment of everyone, as you might imagine. We're hitting all her aspects!
Born for Greatness, by Papa Roach - her visions with Akua at Second Liesse suggest that she was heavily inclined to somehow be important, assuming Black didn't kill her. It's just who she is.

APGTE Abridged would feature We Didn't Start The Fire, by Billy Joel, naturally.

I am, admittedly, kind of a rare breed of Magic player that will become more common as the game ages โ Iโve known and loved Magic since early childhood, as my dad taught me to play around the age of 5 or so in the late 90โs. Did I play Magic correctly at age 5? No, probably not. However, I basically donโt have memories where I donโt know how to play Magic, itโs basically a part of me. As a 7, 8, 9 year old, I would read the first Official Magic Encyclopedia (โIllustrated with over 2,000 color cards!โ) like a bedtime story. While I am quite possibly as much of a Magic player and fan now more than Iโve ever been, I am quite nostalgic for that classic 1995 era feel. Why I am telling you this? Well, because there is a strong โrumorโ going around that sometime soon we will be visiting the plane of Shandalar in โShandalar: Island in the Mistsโ and boy howdy, I got some thoughts.
Shandalar is a touchy subject in the greater world of MTG lore. There is a more recent setting of Shandalar โ it makes quite a few appearances in core sets from the early 2010โs era of Magic. We have gotten a few name drops of locations on Shandalar, this includes: Thune, Evos Isle, Kalonia, Valkas, Xathrid. These are basically 5 regions on Shandalar that are dominated by one specific color of mana. There are several cards that reference this, some of them include: [[Archangel of Thune]], [[Kalonian Hydra]], [[Scourge of Valkas]], [[Warden of Evos Isle]], [[Xathrid Necromancer]]. We even have a legend or 2, [[Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient]] and (seemingly) [[Talrand, Sky Summoner]]. There is actually a pretty rich amount of lore available about Shandalar, including an attempt of conquest by Lim-Dul, a Great Protector and a โWizardsโ Warโ, and this is where the second version (and more beloved to me) version of Shandalar comes in.
Shandalar, originally, was the setting of the 1997 Microprose computer game, simply called Magic The Gathering, but commonly referred to as Shandalar. In this single player adventure game, you are the chosen one, on a quest to defeat the 5 Guildlords (one for each color) that wish to draw mana from various towns and cities in the game (known as โtappingโ into the mana of the cities, ha!) to cast the Spell of Dominion, which will let them โconquerโ Shandalar (short answer: You lose). You stop them by being a great Magic player, dueling their minions, going to each respective castle and showing them how much fake money you have by collecting pieces of th

This subreddit event will be a bit different from the last one. This time around the Let's Read will only be active for two weeks from posting - rather than a full month.
We're still discussing exactly what the next event will be (But it is likely to be a bit creative!).
Beyond the first, there is perhaps no book more important to the Ravenloft setting than this one by William W. Connors and Steve Miller. It forms the groundwork for the most memorable period of Ravenloft's history, and sets in stone many of the setting's iconic elements.
That's right: We're in 750 Barovian Calendar - the Grand Conjunction has come to pass and the Requiem has been and went.
What are either of those events? Well, this book is here to give you all the details!
The History
By 1997 the Ravenloft Campaign setting had been actively supported for seven years - starting with the release of the Realm of Terror boxed set for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition.
The tale of Hyskosa's Hexad was told through the modules up through Roots of Evil, culminating in the settings first major event - the Grand Conjunction. Quickly after, in 1994, TSR released an update to the campaign setting - incorporating all the changes made by that narrative. This was the Ravenloft "Red Box" Campaign Setting
The Grim Harvest story was told through the following modules. This narrative culminating in - yes - another setting-wide event (Or: Darkon at the very least). And yes: They were both largely caused by Azalin Rex.
Now needing another new revision of the campaign setting, TSR chose not to repeat old tricks.
Out was the boxed set and in was a hardcover tome. Not content with focussing on Outlanders entering the mists, this book aimed to be a comprehensive source book for characters native to the Demiplane of Dread.
Contained within are more domains than ever, an array of new rules for horror play, a guide for running horror scenarios, and a chapter all about factions. The book is complete with new classes, and a whole new 58-page character creation section tailor-made for the Demiplane!

Go post NSFW jokes somewhere else. If I can't tell my kids this joke, then it is not a DAD JOKE.
If you feel it's appropriate to share NSFW jokes with your kids, that's on you. But a real, true dad joke should work for anyone's kid.
Mods... If you exist... Please, stop this madness. Rule #6 should simply not allow NSFW or (wtf) NSFL tags. Also, remember that MINORS browse this subreddit too? Why put that in rule #6, then allow NSFW???
Please consider changing rule #6. I love this sub, but the recent influx of NSFW tagged posts that get all the upvotes, just seem wrong when there are good solid DAD jokes being overlooked because of them.
Thank you,
A Dad.

1 | The Black Finger of Akaron: This long, bony, decaying finger once belonged to the powerful necromancer Akaron. The wielder can use this finger to drain 1d6 HP from their opponent, if they fail a CON saving throw. If the spell works, the fingernail on the finger grows. |
2 | The Crown of the Skeleton: A silver circlet, engraved with skulls and bones. While wearing this circlet, you can summon 1d4 skeletons from the earth for a single day. The circlet recharges after 24 hours. |
3 | The Ring of Kazjezzren: A simple gold ring with tiny engravings of imps along the outside. You can use this ring to cast 'hold person' once per day, but the 'hold person' spell is actually 1d6 invisible imps holding the target in place. |
4 | The Mummified Heart of Granny Zelda: A small wooden box contains the mummified heart of a once VERY powerful hag. If you drop a single drop of your own blood onto the heart, it begins beating again. The heart grants you resistance to necrotic damage for 1d4 hours. |
5 | Necklace of the Dead: A necklace made from shrunken heads. The eyes of the heads have been plucked out. If you place a small gem in one of the eye sockets, and wear the necklace, you can cast Speak With Dead once per gem. The gem dissolves after use. |
6 | Helm of Twin-Linked Thoughts: This circlet is one of a pair. It enables the wearers to communicate telepathically over any distance. When one of the last users died while wearing it, the other's soul was trapped inside. It works as a helm of telepathy like normal, but when first attuned, the spirit inside tries to possess the wearer. |
7 | Hunter's Call: Channels have been carved into this ancient seven pointed elks horn. The user chooses a target and blows into the base. A call beyond human hearing goes out and any wolves within 10 miles will feel compelled to hunt the target each night until it, or they are dead. |
8 | Static Reach: This ring is made of braided copper bands of several precious metals. While worn anyone that shakes hands with the wearer will then cast Shocking Grasp on the next person they touch. This effect does not expire until the spell is discharged. The victim is unaware that they've been affected by the ring. |
