So for fun while listening to the new album I went through every Helloween Album and bonus materials to see who wrote the most songs. I'll go through each person and give some thoughts and trivia.

Andi Deris- Vocals (1994-2021)27 Years: 75 Songs: What can I say about Andi the saviour of Helloween, Andi was called by Weikath December 1993 and offered the job, if he didn't take it Weikath was going to disband Helloween for good. Andi has said the management come to him and say "we need 3-4 more good songs" and andi always comes through. I also can't believe that he has written more songs than Weikath with a decade to spare.

Michael Weikath-Guitar (1984-2021) 37 Years: 71 Songs: The Genius himself probably in my top 3 songwriters in the history of music. He went from writing 7-9 songs on older albums to only 1-4 per album at the end of the 90s and 00s. Thats why he's fallen behind Andi, still the de facto leader of helloween and also as far as I know he's never had a solo project or anything outside of helloween he's completely dedicated.

Marcus Grosskopf- Bass (1984-2021) 37 years: 35 Songs: One of the best bass players in the world by far and is constantly underestimated and overlooked. Marcus is a bit famous for being shafted by the rest of helloween and never getting his songs on the album 🤣 he's a great songwriter even though the majority of his songs are left off the album and appear as bonus tracks, he's a top guy as well very sharp and good in interviews.

Sascha Gerstner-Guitar (2002-2021) 19 years: 31 Songs: Great songwriter and more importantly a different composer to Weikath he dosent try to copy the past helloween stuff he's a really great addition to the band to replace Roland. He's an interesting character who has his own Synth pop thing called PALAST check it out.

Kai Hansen- Guitar (1984-1988/89+2016-2021) 9 Years: 23 Songs: He wrote a lot of songs on the first two records and then 3 on keeper 2 and then was gone still a lot say he had the magic. His Pink guitar the great attitude who knows what it would of been like if he stayed. He's back now and I can't wait to hear some more writing from him on the next record.

Roland Grapow-Guitar (1989-2001) 12 Years: 17 Songs: A great songwriter, Weikath had seen him with rampage in 1988 and bookmarked him for helloween. He wrote a lot on the first couple of records, his work on pink bubbles go ape (my favorite album) send him to near the top for me also masterplan. It loo
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
