Trying to see if there is any ota streaming device and app for Apple TV that lets you edit the channel names on the lineup. I have a insane amount of PBS stations here and never remember which is which even with the channel numbers and would like to edit their names bc they all show diff content, instead of all of them saying PBS. Does anything do this?
My 5 favorite are:
"Kennedy and Heidi"- The Sopranos
"Blink"- Doctor Who
"The Breaking Point"- Band of Brothers
"The Human Monster"- One Punch Man
"Paterfamilias"- The Crown
Honourable mentions are included.
Mine are:

Hello, I want to use Kodi to watch my TV Shows so I've ordered a new harddrive for it. I'm currently preparing all of my files for Kodi. My files are currently in this format:
Series/Show_Name (Year)/[S01.E01] Episode_Title.mp4
Will this work with the MovieDB crawler? The Kodi wiki said that it's important that you include the Season and Episode number. But will it detect the [S01.E01] format or should I change it to something like S01E01?
Jordan meant it to be pronounced Mwa-RAINE (tEotW glossary).
But every superfan WoT commentator I've found says Mo-RAINE.
Don't mean to come across as pedantic but I find it an odd contrast to the Tolkien fandom: they're usually sticklers for getting Elvish pronunciations right.
For example, an episode simply called "2001" in english is "The False Friends" in French, even though 2001 would obviously translate. When other countries do this, they usually describe the plot instead of convey the episode title to a near-translation.
Hi team, when I use the external player to watch any stream, Stremio sends the stream name as one digit i.e. 0 or 1 or 2. So, whenever I have to load external subtitles I have to search for the string manually. It would be great if you could pass the stream name to the external players.
I believe it was a Netflix or Hulu type show. Iβm starting to believe I imagined it so I come seeking help. The premise of the show is that itβs is like a teen drama/comedy where the typical person in this world is gay and the main female lead is βcoming outβ as straight. I thought it was an interesting idea for a show and I wanna also make sure Iβm not going insane. Thank you so much!
I'm wondering if anyone here knows of this game. If memory serves me correct I think it was on a video game review show called Judgment Day, on G4 Tech TV. But it could be other shows. Remember there were plenty of those shows back in the day, before YouTube became a big thing.
I only remember bits of what the game looks like. I remember it played pretty much like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. And no, its not the cheat code that turns the skateboard into a hoverboard. Speaking of which, IIRC the hoverboard the character uses is shaped like a stylized letter X.
Settings and story-wise, I think it was some sort dystopian future, kind of like Jet Set Radio Future, except its not JSRF, it was proper 3D with realistic character designs.
Games I am sure it's not: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Jet Set Radio Future, EyeToy Antigrav.
Thank you in advance.
I came across the teaser of this BRAND NEW TV show when I was randomly watching teasers/trailers on Youtube. Here's the description I remember of the teaser:
- The setting is at a bar
- Time: evening
- The extras kept mentioning the name of the protagonist.
- The protagonist was only revealed at the end of the video.
Description of the TV show:
- it was its 1st season at the time I watched its teaser. Brand new show. Probably launched between 2017 and 2020.
- The main character is a White guy and looked like he's between 25 and 33 years old. He looks young.
- This show has a Peaky Blinders-Sherlock Holmes feel to it. They look like they're in the same era.
- Probably the show takes place between 1900 and 1950. He's wearing a coat like Sherlock Holmes.
- I don't remember whether it was a Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime Original or from BBC, Fox, NBC, or CBS.
edit: the show has been found, its called βLa CQβ. thank you !
I can't remember which channel i watched it on, it was set in a school, the school colors were red and white, there was a mean blonde cheerleader who had a friend who was a dumb blonde cheerleader. The mean cheerleader was jealous and was mean to a brunette girl (the protagonist ?) because the boy she liked really liked the brunette. There was also animations to exaggerate it ? I don't know, but there was animations. I'm sorry i can't provide any more information, but please help me find it.
I remember watching a video about this, it was about a halloween special for a tv show, the creators made fans believe there were some technical difficulties with the special and said they were going to show previously aired episodes.
I think they aired an episode that started with a man eating something at a table at night, with windows behind him, but then there were scary stuff happening outside the windows.
The video showed the reaction of Twitter users to this, any ideas?
SVTFOE to my surprise subverts and deconstructs many common TV tropes. Because of that, it feels like a breath of fresh air compared to the by the numbers sitcoms Disney Channel has been airing in the past decade (exception to Wizards and K.C.).
Can you name or identify any TV trope this show has subverted?
I can only think of two of them.
Nagging Parents. This was subverted with the Diazes as they are portrayed as open and peppy. Not to mention how affectionate the two are.
And the new baby sibling trope done countless times was executed so differently. As Marco got a new baby sibling, he did not feel any jealously or hatred towards it. When Mariposa was born, Marco is shown to be so caring and loving towards her.
What else do you got?
I think the sketch ends with Key or Peele saying that they need to change the website name.
