A list of puns related to "Tumbleweed Connection"
I just installed tumbleweed on my old laptop after using parrot for a while, and my connection over wireless reportedly "deactivates" repeatedly. I also tried ethernet, which does the same thing.
I can always reconnect, but it is annoying and I do not understand why it occurs. I have tried installing NetworkManager and configuring it, but I still have the same issue.
So far the issue has only pertained around using the 'Software Updates' tool, where the updates will fail when it deactivates.
Is this problem known and how should I approach fixing it?
So I want to build a playlist of songs, artists etc that sound like Elton Johnβs tumbleweed Connection: not overproduced, western themes, high degree of vocal acumen and musicianship, etc. Any ideas?
I'm interested in getting into vinyl, and was going to start with one of my favorite albums, Tumbleweed Connection. But I was wondering if there is a vinyl that includes the bonus track "Into the Old Man's Shoes", or is that bonus track exclusive to the CD re-release?
Also, I've notice two different cover arts for Tumbleweed Connection, one in black and white, and the other with a brown filter. What's the difference between these covers? Is one older than the other?
[I personally prefer the brown filter cover over the black and white]
Hey folks, how is going? I have installed Tumbleweed today on my new machine, but I noticed my connection become slow as hell, firefox load pages slowwwwwwwwwwwly and this is getting me crazy!
I tested Fedora 33 and just works with ZERO problems. On Windows 10 too, but on Tumbleweed I getting this problem.
Disable firewall doesn't help.

... keep reading on reddit β‘Hi, I would love to be able to play some of Elton's songs from this album as it is my favourite. So if anybody has any piano sheet music from any of the songs in this album, could you send a link or let me know where i could buy or find some?
I ran an Elton John Song Puzzles page on Facebook. I've left that SM platform for other less bothersome places.
I've got a lot of different puzzles: Word Search, Rebus', Picture Puzzles (A lot of these) and many others. I am thinking of starting my own Reddit group just for them.
Should you decide to print this, click FIT TO PAGE in your settings.
There are some with additional words, like guest artists. I got the info from Wiki. Don't blame me if they're wrong.
This puzzle is for TUMBLEWEED CONNECTION. My design work got better as I progressed.

I joined a game around 1:30ish am EST with two other female characters at the table, a blonde and a redhead. The three of us ended up playing together at the same table for over 2.5 hours. Other players came and went, but the three of us stayed, playing hot potato with each other's money and taking turns being in the lead.
Around 4:10 am EST, the redhead left and the blonde left shortly after. After nearly 3 hours of playing together I can't just let it go. I stopped having fun after about an hour and a half, and I think you both did too, but I don't think any of us wanted to be the first to leave.
I only recently started playing online, but I've never fucking played a game of poker for even half that amount of time, let alone with two complete strangers. I have to know who you are. I literally made a reddit just to find you. My character is an old woman with scraggly black hair and a pointed black hat; name is faded_witch. Let's be frens?
Edit to add: PS4 platform
Hi, I'm not an expert on networking or linux, however I've tried a lot of troubleshooting but I still can't pinpoint the issue.
I've been trying to connect to the VPN network of my college, which has an username-password authentication method. I can authorize and connect to the VPN through NetworkManager applet with my credentials, and ping some DNS servers; however I cannot connect to any website through Firefox or Chromium. traceroute google.com
also returns pretty normal results without package loss. git pull
and curl
also doesn't work while on VPN.
The same VPN configuration works on my phone and Windows machine. Do you guys have any more methods for toubleshooting? Is this a bug of Networkmanager or OpenVPN? Thanks for your help in advance.
Edit: The issue seems to be in my vpn configuration file, or perhaps on the VPN server. I'll inform you if I manage to make it work.
Been listening to Elton for a while, just discovered tumbleweed connections. Slowly becoming my favorite album of his
Hello.
Could someone here help me with my network connection problems? I'm using latest Tumbleweed with KDE Plasma & NetworkManager.
For a few days now I'm struggling with my connection issues. When I boot the system and login, my connection works for like a ~30 seconds or so.
After that period, even if it says that I'm connected to the internet (via nmcli and such), I can't use it. Firefox doesn't load any webpages, zypper won't sync repos, I can't even ping a website.
My wireless chip is Qualcomm Atheros QCA6174 using the ath10k driver (I have also installed the generic atheros driver just-in-case). It was working really well before. If I restart the NetworkManager.service, my network connection just disappears. Sometimes after booting my network isn't being detected. Reboot fixes this.
I have tried switching to wicked, it didn't worked. Also, I wanted to try connman, but cmst (a GUI & tray functionality for connman) was showing me some (I don't know what errors, I don't have access to my laptop now) dbus errors. I have followed the connman instructions about disabling other network interfaces.
After reinstalling the system (via Tumbleweed ISO from March 26th) using KDE Plasma system role & NetworkManager, the network connection works until I reboot it again. Then it does the things, I have described above. Leap 15.1 (LiveISO) and 15.2 Beta and Fedora 31 do NOT have these weird issues.
Someone has an idea, what could be wrong here? Thank You.
As some of you may have seen, it was one of my first records these past few days, and so far, i've listened to it 3 times all the way through, with another listen happening at this very moment. I absolutely love it, its arguably beat blue moves as my favorite elton album. I did notice in the grand scheme of things though, it's not often mentioned. Do you think it's underrated? properly rated? overrated? also, what would you say your favorite song is off the album? Mine by far is burn down the mission.
One of Elton Johnβs best albums, Tumblweed Connection, was featured today on Album Daily (www.albumdaily.com). Check it out to see what they had to say!
I was 12, and a huge Elton fan I still am) . I bought the LP, and it didn't have a lyric booklet. I wrote the record company and they actually sent me one! I have almost every early Elton album, and I no longer have a record player. That's my story.
