The Captain is back for his weekly look at the hits that are lighting up the billboard charts.
The group really is rebooting to a more modern sound. It might sound jarring if you compare it to the music they were making five or six years ago. But if you compare it to what the current pop climate is, the production values arenβt overblown in that direction. Itβs well balanced and Iβm liking 7 more with every listen.
It would be weird and sad if they stayed stuck in 2015. As much as that era was brilliant. Iβm looking forward to them changing direction as the times change in the future.
